well when you blow the same motor 6 times you're bound to learn a thing or 2.

my point is i dont shit stir and thats what the mods think i do. unlike most of the people on here i give off my true opinions and there is no problem in doing that. my opinions will be the same whether it be in a thread or in person.

You don't shit stir but the way we do things is "crap", Duncan - who does all his own mechanical work bar machining - is a cheque book racer, you say he "thinks he's so awesome" when in actual fact he is far more humble than someone with his skills behind the wheel should be, you happily gloss over facts like comparing a thursday track day with 60 cars to a weekend track day with 40 and massively misrepresenting the cost difference but you don't shit stir?

Just to clarify:

1. Our track day is 45% more expensive than the other one in the events section if you are a member and 64% more expensive if not. Do you think we are making profits to go cheque book racing?

2. Our track day is on a weekend and the other one is not. All tracks charge a lot more for weekends because that's when most people are available to race. Supply and demand.

3. Our track day is limited to 40 cars whereas the other one is 60. If you think you will go faster with a 60 car field it's because you have no idea and no experience. How can a bunch of cars getting in your way make you go faster? It makes as much sense to say I can get to the airport in peak hour faster than at 10pm.

4. Regarding the whore threads and club membership; It has been personally explained to you numerous times that there is a distinct difference between the club and the forums. If you still don't get it it's because you are stupid, however I know you do get it, you are just being belligerent. If you think this last sentence was me calling you stupid you are being belligerent again because I plainly was not.

FFS man, come or don't come. I don't care either way. Just stop being so rude and belligerent and please check your facts before you post.

abo bob,

i believe you only read my posts and not the replies that followed. if this is what you did then you are either stupid or belligerent. i do believe this was a chance to call me an idiot because if you read the entire thread, which im sure you would've being a moderator and all - you wouldn't call someone rude and belligerent without the facts. so which was it? did you not read the rest of the thread or did you call me an idiot, rude and belligerent for the sake of it?

and for the record, i didnt ask why your track days were 160% of the price if you were trying to make money off people. it was a simple question that needed an answer. i really dont care what you do with the $12,000+ of the sau nsw club money.

all of the points you raised were genuine questions and if you were doing your job as a moderator you would have either:

1. answered them without the attitude.

2. read the entire thread and saw that your input was not needed.

3. not called me names after 'you know what' happened. you're smarter than that.

i'm not here to start fights. i used to be involved in all of this crap but at some point the club turned from a place where i could log in and chat to friends which then lead me to become a member, to a place where i had to watch what i say because the mods/admins have something against speaking your mind.

lets just lay it all out into the open here. the dramas that happened in the nsw section caused the whore threads to be closed. i think that was actually pretty dumb because people will always, no matter what you do, have dramas with each other. its the way of the world and even the first matrix couldnt work without it. closing it caused a loss of a few members paying for membership, some still do but where are they now? would you rather they still paid for membership and not be a part of the social group? something is telling me the answer is yes.

you may say that the club and the forum are two separate things but the reality of it is the forum is the reason to why people become members of the club. think about it.

joe for president.

so....anyone coming to a track day :(

I have pmed a heap of peeps to tell them they should enter to get some skills and mingle with people they talk to all the time but never get to met and it is working :(

Awesome day for newbies!!

There's no point in keeping him under moderator review if people are still going to allow his shit-stirring posts through

well from what i can see SECURITY has been simply expressing his opinion, just as the moderators seem to be doing. which i find fair enough. if anything, it seems that whenever he posts something ABO BOB or DUNCAN seem to be down his throat. give the bloke a break.

we all know the saying, keep poking a dog with a stick and hel bite

i dont even see how what i'm doing is shit stirring. i've always asked legitimate questions and made truthful comments. the least you guys could do is talk it out like men.

I'm more worried about how off topic your posts are. You were clearly shit stirring in your first posts - suggesting the day was expensive because you saw one cheaper, even though they are organised in totally different ways. And of course by doing so you are actively discouraging people attending and suggesting the club is trying to make a pile of money from these days.

when the facts are that a/ you were never going to attend and b/the club plans to break even on 40 entrants. If we get less than 40 we loose money, and we won't take more than 40. The whole idea is a day that people who are new to the track can come along to and have fun in a safe environment with instructors.

I'm happy to let that go but we are still talking off topic rubbish 2 pages later. So, consider this you warning - if you continue to post off topic in this thread you will have your account suspended for the millionth time. Feel free to start another thread elsewhere, say NSW section about your thoughts on the world. No idea why you continue to break the forum (not club's) rules when you have been warned and banned so many times. Must be like a game to you.

Yeah the main idea of this thread that I started was to get people interested in a track day who have never been, and have some experienced guys in the car with them to give a few tips and advice :D

    • Hi all,  I am in the market for an R200 longnose diff out of a Z31 300ZX, or S12 RSX, DR30 skyline, or similar, in a 3.9 ratio.  Preferably a late model one with the M12 crownwheel bolts.  The only easy to find advert for one of these was my ad back in 2007 when I sold it on this forum.  I sold the diff as I had sold the car it goes to, but as it turns out, after 18 years I got the car back late last year, so now I'm looking for the diff !  If anyone knows where to find a longnose R200 LSD with the M12 crownwheel bolts, drop me a line at [email protected] - Bonus paid if soomeone comes up with the original diff (stranger things have happened !).  Cheers   Ben D
    • Hi everyone, I used to post here a bit from 2004-2013, when I owned various Nissans, in particular my S12 RSX gazelle, which was sold in 2007.  As luck would have it, after an 18 year hiatus, the car found its way back to me last year, and over the past 11 months I have had the pleasure of restoring it with my kids.  One thing that I am after in particular is a 3.9 ratio R200 LSD for it.  I actually sold the one out of the car here back in 2007 , and it would be incredible if I could track down who I sold it to, so I can see how they have progressed over the years (and to be honest, to see whether I can get the diff back !).  Anyways, hi all and let me know "where are the R200 Longnose diffs all at these days ?  Cheers Ben D
    • Arms will be the same as the G35 or 350Z, but as above, there was a change in the lower control arm where it connects to the ball joint.  That said, you can remove the ball joint cone from your old ball joints and fit them to the new ball joints.  To be honest, I didn't think the ball joints themselves were different. The main ball joint is a bit awkward to replace, you really need to remove the steering knuckle to press out the old one.  Some people have used tools to remove it in place, but it just seemed too hard to get to. If you are going to press out/in that ball joint, then you may as well just replace the bushings in the LCA and the compression rod.  You can buy the compression rod bushing from Nissan, but the LCA bushes, you will need to go aftermarket. Much cheaper than buying the whole arm.
    • Ha, well, it's been.... a bit of a journey. Things have taken much longer than I'd hoped. I'll probably put up a thread at some stage. Hopefully soon. The car's not done any kms since my update in June though, put it that way.
    • Here's the chart for fuel pressure vs. current draw, assuming your base fuel pressure is 3 bar and you run like 0.5bar boost on WOT, you should only momentarily hit 9amps here and there. (Ignore my prev post, I cannot read a chart these days it seems)
