hi guys i wanna share my train of thought..

i sawr a car club(not quite sure) but it consists of evo 7,8,9 only.. its kinda kewl really cause they all have the same car (well not the same really, i mean 7,8,9 evos do look alike)...

anyway my point is, it looked fun, and it got me thinking, why dont we have a group or a club, well at least just some friends to hang out, that have only 34s (i know im being carsist here), but anyway WHOS f*kEN UP FOR IT? and may we have all the 34s seniors be with us, to get this thang going, amen!

im gonna post this an idea for the next cruise, but proley in 2 months time... since im goin for a month holiday in 2 weeks time... :D

bly

Ummmmmm, Evos kill 34's for breakfast....thats just life lol

You would be more than welcome to run a cruise etc for just 34's....however there arent that many that usually come to cruises etc (*maybe 5 on average?) so i would not imagine it is going to be overly successful....but good luck :D

coz the evo is better than your r34 GTT.

Mate, as we are talking about road cars, and the measure of ALL road cars is probably Targa Tasmania,

do you know what won TT this year? HINT: it was not the new GT-R or the Porsche 997 and definitely not a R34 GT-T ! :D

PS, learn to type in english....

lol wtf?

lol i have NO idea what TurboX was talking about...

as for Billy's suggestion, surprisingly enough it has been discussed by some R34 owners before... to have an R34 club...

just like Perth-S15...

as for R34's going to cruises, i know at least 10 that would join, thing is... it would be nowhere near as active as SAU and nor with the forums be umm... i don't think useful...

as for having a mini-club and cruises on a regular basis it is not a bad idea, thing is... it might be offensive to others out there that DON'T own R34's...

and what happens to the folk that sell their R34's but want to remain in the club and end up buying other cars?

will they be allowed to attend in their new car?

it all gets complicated, just saying, if you want to organise something like this it's not a bad idea at all... you'll just need to put heaps of effort and thought into it...

oh yeah, to the comments EVO's eat GT-T's...

WHY DID EVERYBODY TELL ME TO KEEP MY GT-T WHEN I COULD'VE GOT MY BROTHERS TME THEN!?!?!

come on, TME 6.5 is better package than EVO VII *shakes head* :D lol

    • Look for broken wire or bad connector at the motor. Might not be it, but is worth starting there, as it is easy.
    • Hi everyone, I’m having an issue with my R32 GT-R. Sometimes, when the car goes over a bump or experiences some vibration, the 4WD warning light comes on the dashboard. When I check the code from the control unit in the trunk, it shows Code 19 – ETS Motor. However, everything seems to be working fine — if I turn off the engine and restart the car, the light goes away and everything functions normally. Has anyone experienced this before? Where should I start troubleshooting this issue? Thanks in advance!
    • I'm back from the dyno - again! I went looking for someone who knew LS's and had a roller dyno, to see how it shaped up compared to everything else and confirm the powerband really is peaking where Mr Mamo says it should. TLDR: The dyno result I got this time definitely had the shape of how it feels on the road and finally 'makes sense'. Also we had a bit more time to play with timing on the dyno, it turns out the common practice in LS is to lower the timing around peak torque and restore it to max after. So given a car was on the dyno and mostly dialled in already, it was time for tweaking. Luis at APS is definitely knowledgable when it came to this and had overlays ready to go and was happy to share. If you map out your cylinder airmass you start seeing graphs that look a LOT like the engine's torque curve. The good thing also is if you map out your timing curve when you're avoiding knock... this curve very much looks like the inverse of the airmass curve. The result? Well it's another 10.7kw/14hp kw from where I drove it in at. Pretty much everywhere, too. As to how much this car actually makes in Hub Dyno numbers, American Dyno numbers, or Mainline dyno numbers, I say I don't know and it's gone up ~25kw since I started tinkering lol. It IS interesting how the shorter ratio gears I have aren't scaled right on this dyno - 6840RPM is 199KMH, not 175KMH. I have also seen other printouts here with cars with less mods at much higher "kmh" for their RPM due Commodores having 3.45's or longer (!) rear diff ratios maxing out 4th gear which is the 1:1 gear on the T56. Does this matter? No, not really. The real answer is go to the strip and see what it traps, but: I guess I should have gone last Sunday...
    • 310mm rotors will be avilable from Australia, Japan, and probably a few other places. Nothing for the front can be put on the back.
