really pricey dont you think mate, you after a stock r32 gtr with some cahs on top and you can get an avt racig rasdiator off ebay for $340 delivered and they are 70mm radiators, i know thats too fat but oh well you can save money and one of my relatives has it on his r32 gtr and is extremely well, anyway pm me back,

cheers tony

mate dont tell me they are 42mm, ill proof it to you if you like, my own cousin has a jvt racing 70mm radiator in his gtr, if you want pics let me know ill pm ya orite and by the way go see for yourself on ebay.com not the australian ebay ok,

one thing that has changed about the ones on ebay is the shipping costs, it cost my cousin about $340-$360 delivered to australia

GTRBOS: how is it pricey when i havent even put a price up?

i paid 1000 for it a few years ago and as i dont know what theyre worth these days(if the price is still same or has dropped..etc) i put "make an offer". keep dreaming if you think im going to sell it for anywhere near those ebay ones though.

furthermore, its pwr and therefore quality, unlike your mass produced china ebay shit which your comparing it to

and no im not interested in swapping because: 1. i have no use for a standard gtr radiator, 2. i dont live in melb and 3. i have no use for a standard gtr radiator

perhaps sell your std gtr rad and gather up some cash and make me an offer

Price is now set at $800

no lowballers, tyrekickers, dreamers or swaps

cheers

you cant compare quality between PWR radiators to cheap ebay crap.

I run one of these in my track car, and it works fantastic. flog the shit out of the car for 5 laps, come into pits, and water temp is 82 degrees.

im just saying that it is abit pricey in my calculations but maybe not in yours, to tell you the truth i dont really know how much they are worth and i dont really care either, i see its a good radiator but $800 is out of my budget but maybe some other person will snap it off ya and i would just buy a greddy radiator one with warranty for that sort of price but i dont know anything about this radiator so i cant judge mate,

anway good luck with the sale, maybe if it was around$400- $500 i would of mayeb took it but not $800 at the moment as i have other plans and out of my budget for it

gl wid sdale mate,

cheers tony

as you said yourself, you dont know anything about this radiator

therefore why comment on it at all?

like cameron says theres no point comparing the cheap china crap to this radiator

cheers

wouldn't hurt to do a bit of research into PWR dude

they're very well respected worldwide and are used in some top cars

their products would be easily comparable to anything made japan or the us etc

New it can be bought for around $900.

Yes PWR do make awesome quality radiators however they certainly aren't without the typical manufacture faults (i've seen a couple missing complete welds).

  • 1 month later...

pwr radiators are the best i have blown a couple of head gaskets bulging the radiator and both times i put it in the press to straighten it and after 4 years no leaks .

if you buy quality it lasts.

i guess it like your wheels GTRBOS geuniunee SSR SP 1 wheels that you have got or settle for the china cheep copy for $800 its the same for the radiators , china or brand name ! soon people are going to have stickers on there cars like CHINA RACING TEAM china make good chop sticks and the girls give good head !

    • What 1.5 way? There's no such thing really as a 1.5 way, just different ways of explaining 2 ways with different ramp rates. HOWEVER. In any driving in a straight line your 1.5 or 2 or 1.7 way should have no clunking at all. With the clutch fully depressed the diff should be silent (unless it's welded but I'm assuming it's not). Something aint right here.
    • Clutch is a spec brand, new clutch system,( PP, flywheel, friction disc, etc. pull type) installed 100 miles ago, with no problems.
    • looking for some help and maybe some insight on others experience with a new LSD. R34 GT ran and drove beautifully, but always alot of grip loss due to the open R200 rear end, so I just installed a new 1.5 LSD way into the stock open R200 for a ER34. Simple. Everything seemed right. I test drove for the first time this weekend. as I started to back out the garage the first time slowly with tires straight it sounded and felt like I had a loose or half disconnected drive shaft...that was clucking around loose and shaking entire vehicle, and making it feel like the trans clutch was spontaneously slipping then grabbing very roughly while just letting out pedal slowly. I backed it out went to pull forward with the same noise, shake and slip grab feeling with hesitation, I turned the tires to back out more and then pulled ahead some same thing but worst because of added wheel resistance (which that I expected) puzzled … pulling it back in checking everything over and finding nothing wrong, I tried it the next day. same thing, couldn’t believe how it shook everything again making a terrible noise and making it feel like the trans clutch was slipping and grabbing, but I got it out of garage into the driveway, got it straight, drove forward and then reveres a few times in a straight line everything shaking , causing what felt like clutch slip and grab every time, sounded like right behind front driver tire and I could feel it in the floor board with my feet,... worst right when beginning to let clutch pedal out to engage slightly, shuttering and sounding terrible along the way…I managed to slowly get down the road, babying it the whole way, once I was rolling (out of 1st) seemed to be better and between shifts, then clutch felt closer to normal…not slip/ grab etc., but back down to any stop, straight road or turning, same thing. Made no difference if all tires were straight or if I was turning. All other gauge read out correct. with in 2 miles as planned I reached the empty parking lot and performed the break in procedure that came with lsd, essentially to drive in a figure 8 a bunch.  Did this, binding chattering, and shaking the car the whole way. I drove it back home seemed somewhat normal once I was in straight line and past 10 mph or so, and I know it will “bind” on corners and cause some tires squeal when turning especially from a stop, but when I begin to move it still causes what feels like the trans clutch to slip and jerk badly as well as shaking the entire car, and sounds terrible, that I didn’t expect. I used the fluid they supplied with LSD kit and did the breaking, planning to change fluid as they suggest after breaking, but wondering will it get smoother or less aggressive with use? maybe a 1.5 is just too aggressive for normal road driving?   I have a LSD that I put in my 71 cuda when I restored it, with amazing smooth , quite yet effective results. Different style LSD but that ones a joy to drive. maybe expecting too much from this R200?
