some lucky ppl then =P

Do they have bulbs for the boot light and interior globes? I'm pretty sure the globe in the boot is the standard parker type globes. If they can do those and the interior globes as LEDs I'd be interested

Also did the HIDs get sent out with Aust Post or courier? Just wondering...I keep ducking out to the store room at work to see if they've arrived lol

aus post, i have one set of LED wedge parkers left, for $15 + 2.50 for postage, you could prob use those as the boot light, ill find out about the interior for you later on today

No worries, I'll wait on confirmation for interior lights, otherwise I might just mount a Neon light in the boot running of the 12v boot light power and ditch the bulb.

Cheers

Well I just received an sms from my brother saying a package has arrived for me.

Not 100% sure if it is lights, but I hope so. Am bloody keen to put them in car!!! Aarrggghhhh

That is the annoying thing though, I am leaving straight from work to get on plane at 750 to go to perth till Saturday night.

So I cant check till sunday...lol

Ah well, I will live..

Post up some pics here once you get them in :)

thanks WKD! Yeah will do! If not this arvo, maybe on the weekend I might get around to fitting them. Works been busy as with a system migration in progress so overtime might eat into installing HID time :P I don't want to do a rush job of it :D

indeed they were,

just one thing on installing, make sure that when you plug the balast in the plug is the right way, if it isnt you will blow the globe and that isnt covered under warranty

hey guys, just so you all know, the kits pictured here are not the Cosnica Kits, theyre the kits offered by Matt Tuckett from Angry Industries. the kits WKD-031 is selling are different. The images are lifted directly from Matt's sale threads on the R31 Skyline Club Forums, and all the cars pictured are using his kits. hope this helps.

garrrr tis true, the origional pics and info were used from angrys post, but this forum doesnt alow me to put up the pics of my HIDs once they were installed, hence the follow up pics, and i assure you that the HID kits that were supplied are cosnica kits, and further more i had the permision to use some of the pictures supplyed on the first post

Right this is bullshit... Wasn't gonna say anything on R31 club BUT....

Get ur own f**kin idea man. Seriously. Stealing someone elses idea for a sale, stealing their pics, their product... Whats next... U gonna take his woman? f**kin low man! I love ur quote.... "I dont wanna cut his grass... My prices r cheaper"... I hate people like this!

He wasn't even in the country when you started. After 5 successful group buys on R31 club, he goes on holiday and u jump in on the same product.... LOL... Too bad he already exhausted R31 club b4 u got to it.. Can't believe u even tried man. Pretty pathetic.

For all those thinking of buying HID kits... Angry is a trusted member of both clubs... 7 or 8 group buys on 31 club, maybe 9 and not a single thing gone wrong with money OR product quality or anything for that matter. There is about 70 or 80 ppl who will back that up.

Find something else to sell man!

EAT A BAG!!! :D

Good luck

    • Hi, SteveL Thank you very much for your reply, you seem to be the only person on the net who has come up with a definitive answer for which I am grateful. The "Leak" was more by way of wet bubbles when the pedal was depressed hard by a buddy while trying to gey a decent pedal when bleeding the system having fitted the rebuilt BM50 back in the car, which now makes perfect sense. A bit of a shame having just rebuilt my BM50, I did not touch the proportioning valve side of things, the BM50 was leaking from the primary piston seal and fluid was running down the the Brake booster hence the need to rebuild, I had never noticed any fluid leaking from that hole previously it only started when I refitted it to the car. The brake lines in the photo are "Kunifer" which is a Copper/Nickel alloy brake pipe, but are only the ones I use to bench bleed Master cylinders, they are perfectly legal to use on vehicles here in the UK, however the lines on the car are PVF coated steel. Thanks again for clearing this up for me, a purchase of a new BMC appears to be on the cards, I have been looking at various options in case my BM50 was not repairable and have looked at the HFM BM57 which I understand is manufactured in Australia.
    • Well the install is officially done. Filled with fluid and bled it today, but didn't get a chance to take it on a test drive. I'll throw some final pics of the lines and whatnot but you can definitely install a DMAX rack in an R33 with pretty minor mods. I think the only other thing I had to do that isn't documented here is grind a bit of the larger banjo fitting to get it to clear since the banjos are grouped much tighter on the DMAX rack. Also the dust boots from a R33 do not fit either fyi, so if you end up doing this install for whatever reason you'll need to grab those too. One caveat with buying the S15 dust boots however is that the clamps are too small to fit on the R33 inner tie rod since they're much thicker so keep the old clamps around. The boots also twist a bit when adjusting toe but it's not a big deal. No issues or leaks so far, steering feels good and it looks like there's a bit more lock now than I had before. Getting an alignment on Saturday so I'll see how it feels then but seems like it'll be good to go
    • I don't get in here much anymore but I can help you with this.   The hole is a vent (air relief) for the brake proportioning valve, which is built into the master cylinder.    The bad news is that if brake fluid is leaking from that hole then it's getting past the proportioning valve seals.   The really bad news is that no spare parts are available for the proportioning valve either from Nissan or after market.     It's a bit of a PITA getting the proportioning valve out of the master cylinder body anyway but, fortunately, leaks from that area are rare in my experience. BTW, if those are copper (as such) brake lines you should get rid of them.    Bundy (steel) tube is a far better choice (and legal  in Australia - if that's where you are).
