Comments / Modifications:

Hi all,

I've owned this car for a little over a year now, but unfortunately it's come time to sell it to buy a house. It's a shame, it's my third Nissan turbo car and I love them a lot  This car has basic modifications. I've always wanted to retain the drive ability of the car by not pushing it to the limits. It drives beautifully and reliably :D

ENGINE:

  • Apexi Power FC
  • 2 x Garrett 2860r -5 turbos
  • 2 x RB25 AFM
  • 2 x Apexi Pods
  • 660cc Nismo injectors
  • Nismo Fuel Regulator
  • Bosch 044 fuel pump
  • Greddy E0-1 boost controller
  • Turbo back Fujitsubo Exhaust
  • Tomei Cams Type B 260/260 9.15mm lift + Cam gears (dialed in)
  • Jim Berry clutch + flywheel (just fitted!)
  • Tune done by IS Motor racing with reliability as the key. High boost makes 317kw@4, low boost makes 280kw@4.

SUSPENSION:

  • Apexi adjustable suspension
  • Tomei Hicas lock kit

BRAKES:

  • RDA slotted rotors all round
  • Hawk street pads
  • Motul fluid

BODY:

  • Black Volk CE28N with chrome outer lip
  • Pirrelli P7000 tyres
  • Carbon fibre ganadors
  • Carbon fibre rear spoiler blade
  • Carbon fibre radiator shroud
  • Clear indicators (front and side)

INTERIOR:

  • Pivot engine start button
  • Alpine HU (top of the line, full ipod control)
  • Soundstream 2x12inch subs, 2xamps
  • MTX 2way splits
  • PFC hand controller (mounted)

I've got a lot of receipts for all the modifications I've done on this car.. for my own piece of mind, I'm not going to add them up hehe.

Oh, and I recently had the front lip sanded back and painted black again as I got sick of the white :D All inspections are welcomed, it's a very clean car, you won't be disappointed. I just put the clutch in too, and while I was there I had a full service.

Don't hesitate to contact me if you'd like anymore info....

Cheers,

Tommo.

Thanks guys :D

This is a clean car I looked at it, when owned by the previous owner.

Oh, and you have PM... you're thinking of his old S1, not this car!! I bought his rims / mirrors / wing inserts and fitted them to this car because I loved the look of it that much :D

mate, just a quick question with regards to the push button start. does it eliminate the key altogether? and if so, apart from the after market alarm, is there anything stopping someone from gainning entry and starting the engine

You are so going to regret this Tommo. Such a lovely GTR and you're going to sell it!! Didn't you just purchase the brand new -5s from me?

Yeah, they were for a good mates GTR. He went for few rides in mine and loved it so much he bought a pair

Nah, it doesn't eliminate the key. That would be irresponsible from a theft perspective, and I'm already too paranoid about where I leave this car :D

    • Have a vb in honour of the car comming back
    • It was a great, but typical track day, and some VB was ingested at the night time debrief 🤪
    • And so, to round this out, I couldn't be happier to confirm @MBS206 has decided to buy the car. He drove down from sunny QLD with a trailer last week and it is off to its new home today. I'll let Matt confirm on next steps but I understand broadly that the plan is to leave it pretty much as is, and just get some quality wheel time with a nicely balanced car that is pretty much track ready. There are a few a jobs still to be done first but nothing too major and I think its a very smart buy Dinner last night at the Paragon with a round of VBs (mostly) for Neil
    • Well, 50 pages and the end of a chapter for this car. We took it out for a shakedown at Wakie yesterday, and everything went well. There were a couple of niggles: - Oil cooler fitting leak - tightened, cleaned, stopped leaking - Radiator cap overflow fitting was leaking....Mark called it, the overflow fitting was threaded in and not tight....tightened, tested and held pressure - Small oil leak at the rear of the block, probably the turbo oil feed - too hot to get at it comfortably but probably just needs to be nipped up - leak at the driver's side rear brake line where it meets the hardline. Fitting wasn't loose, so Matt backed it off and back on, no further leaks - there's also a leak somewhere on the top of the fuel tank, maybe that cross over fuel line - that was has been left to fix when its on a hoist Otherwise than those niggles the car went great, turned great and stopped great so it was a very successful day out. I'm always really nervous when a car first hits the track after a long break, especially with a brand new engine as well but it was great. VID-20251011-WA0007.mp4  Big thanks to @The Bogan who dropped by and helped out, @MBS206 and my nephew Lachlan the apprentice.  Neil's wife Mel also surprised the hell out of all of us by dropping by; she's up in Tamworth these days but was travelling to Melbourne so had plausible deniability for turning up at the garage, it was great to see her but also obviously a bit sad all round.
