Here is the second last run up. rear tyres had totally delaminated from abuse, I could literally pull long trips of rubber off them exposing the canvas.

was very loose in the bum, and had a couple of little moments, mostly later in the stage. One at 2:40 was particularly memorable, because it could easily have been a sheer drop or a Gum, yet Tim the loon was giggling. haha

Anyway, here tis;

And the Prologue, a Commodore had left an epic oil down toward the end.

Dad and I did it once. Writing them down is the easy bit, the typing them up afterwoulds is shit. I have been thinking about doing my own for next year...just depends how didicated the nav is.

In other news Dad is looking at moving to a new STI Spec-C cause he thinks it will be cheaper....I told him to get prices for gearboxes, engines, and turbos first. And i don't think he'll like running 250rwkw instead of 370rwkw

yes that's what i think too, but Dad think's the Spec-C will be heaps cheaper. But we all know the gtst is the only cheap car

RB20 sounds gooood reverberating off the walls. were you running the soft compound? or did the motorkana stuff kill the tyres?

Well part of the deal I've made is that car doesn't come with an engine, brakes, shocks, wheels, exhaust or interior. (and tail lights - that car has LED's which I don't want!)

So I'm going to need those parts from the old car as a minimum. The big issue with the other parts on my old car is the bonnet and guards. It will probably run externally as a standard white car for THC but for TT11 I will put the kit back on and then it will be a case of whether the car stays white or goes back to blue. I'm pretty sure I know which way it will go......

But yeah Dan I am keeping the drivetrain in the new one. Anyone want to buy a 5 speed GTR gearbox?? :)

I think Tony has the epic shits re no presentation or mention of the series win for showroom category at the Tugga dinner.

I would too! lol

The Tugga guys need to get someone to write them a list of whom needs to be presented with what and when, and then tick the boxes!.... :)

Well then we can be SURE we won't see him in Early Modern if recognition of results is his thing. LOL

ohhh, I think the exclusion of EM coverage post event may have had something to do with the controversy surrounding it not being ideal :)

    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
