Hire Of Bus/driver In Tokyo

Hi guys, As the heading says.... Does anyone know of a company that will hire out a mini-bus and driver in tokyo???

Coming over February for our third trip to Japan and have approx. 12 people we would like to get transport for a night out...

Can anybody help??

Because we want to go to Daikoku futo PA.

We have done this before with a tour company and want to take a group to 'the crossing' on a friday or saturday night.

You can not get a train to pick you up here! Catching a taxi is also hard if you cant speak/read the language.

im sure there are places that would hire out a bus / driver. . . but at what cost? id say a lot.

you could always hire a mini bus by yourselves , get one with sat nav . . . but thats not much help if you cant read or speak the language. . . or maybe one of the boys on here could help you out?

I cant really help out sorry , but I guess you have already done so .... start with a good google search

Thanks, yeah we can get english navigation and we have been there before as i said.... not worried about cost so much as it will be split 12 or so ways.

Last time was a group of about 30 people in a full size coach with driver (organised by tour company), just need to know places in tokyo that would actually hire these out!!

I would ask the tour company but they have stopped doing these tours and the people have left!!

Whilst on the subject;

Is there any english or engligh speaking companies that run a limo or Chauffer service?

I know it would be expensive, but i was planning on going to a bunch of different places and would like the convenience of saving time on travel.

Alternatively, what are my chances of renting a car and not having any confusion driving around? ;)

Ive always thought to travel properly you need to get involved, so i thought a roadtrip from kyoto-osaka etc would be really entertaining

kyoto to osaka is not very far. it's about 30-40min by shinkansen. for that trip to be honest I'd go by train (shinkansen) it's a great experience if you've never been before and you can just sit back and enjoy watching the country fly by out the window. :)

maybe do a road trip on another japan trip when you are more familiar with the basic geography of the place and some langauge. something like tokyo down to osaka would be pretty cool for a road trip. or maybe head up north from tokyo instead? lots of options.

Ok thanks, yeah Tokyo-Kyoto will be a good road trip. Ide like to absorb the surroundings and actively learn about japan better, so ill be taking the scenic trains and doing a fair bit of driving!

I plan on staying for atleast a month; something like 3 weeks in Tokyo, 2 weeks Kyoto and 1 week Osaka.

Do lots of walking, shopping, eating and see all the temples/shrines/landmarks etc

Ide like to check out some real samurai swords and see where they make them by hand. I think its in 'sakurai' near Kyoto :)

Not to mention all the tuning houses..

In the process of planing it all now, just need to figure out when is the best time to go?

      Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.

      Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler

      Can you clarify what you mean by boost cut, do you mean it misfires both when under load (driving) and when stationary and out of gear? Or does the ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high (boost control issue)? Does it occur at idle with no throttle? When you say "the ECU is OK", what ECU is it and why do you think it is OK? Have you used the NEO ECU, and if so do you have a MAP sensor attached? Same for the AFM, why do you think it is OK? Do you have any way to put a fuel pressure gauge on it (even just a mechanical one between the fuel filter and fuel rail)?

      Hi.. Just another problem. So maybe you can help. I(my mechanic) done swap from my RB20DE NEO to RB25DET NEO. Everything is OK but we have a boost cut. Coils/Plugs are ok...AFM is ok. ECU is ok. I have Walbro 255 but it "changed" sound few months ago(you can hear it ouside) you did not hear that when it was new(maybe faulty?) Sooo...what now? What can cause this boost cut? It is even when you standing still...
