The problem with streaking all comes down to what rag/cloth you are using.

Gotta use rags that feel really dry and rough (towels, flannelet etc)

not smooth or soft...

Best method i have found is.....

Use 2 rags, spray glass and wipe with first rag till most of window cleaner gone...doesn't have to be perfect then spray the glass again but a bit less and wipe with second rag until dry and all streaks gone.

the more dry your rags are the better the result

:(

All of the above works but if you want it looking really wicked then let whatever you have used fully dry, then get yourself one of those microfibre dust cloths (got mine in a $2 shop for... $2 :) ) It also works really wicked on your paint work, makes it come up as if you had it cut and polished, everything needs to be completely dry to do it properly. I have one for my windows, one for the paint work and one for the mags :P

very mild soapy water on window tint only I wouldn't trust anyhting else, especially if you don't know what quality tinting film you have..

+1 for newspaper and vinegar...

Although after washing my car I usually stop by the servo and use their paper towels and if your careful you don't get the lint effect...

i use this window cleaning foam and a special square like pillow made for cleaning car windows it is soft but slightly Abrasive after i rub the foam of with it i go over it with a micro fibre cloth. After that they are pretty much crystal.

Oh and i got both products from supercheap auto.

phenline i think i have both the products you are talking about! i found the spray worked awsome sometimes and others it streaked really bad...figured i was using to much of it. I may have to try it with a 2nd cloth to wipe at the end and see how i go.

In regards to metho i think it stuffed my rear window tint(old man put it in my washer bottle) the tint likes whiteish from the inside but i noticed it not long after i got the car so i dont know if it was like it when i got it.

is metho bad for window tint?

Metho is a window cleaner, as I read last time.

But I would not use it on your window tint.

I ment clean the outside of the windows with metho don't rub it in on the inside where your tint is.

    • Unsolicited advice? Keep the engine as close to stock as you can. Nothing wrong with adding some boost and making a little more power, but given where you are, you really don't want to try to make it into a monster. I can't imagine the roads are up to it, and the lack of locla support when it grenades will be a ball ache. FWIW, If there is a dyno around that you can access, then brand new injectors are a good idea, which will lead you to (at least) putting a Nistune in it, which will allow you to put an R35 AFM on it, all of which will make it possible to make it much much nicer to drive and live with.
    • List all of your mods. It sounds like an aftermarket ECU hitting rev limiter. Like a valet mode, or a cold rpm limiter?
    • @Kapr Haha yeah thats the one. I missed that you had a built up engine, I wouldn't want to run it on there either then. It was good in my situation just to replace the original turbo on a stock engine. @MBS206Yep definitely not a replacement for anything name brand
    • You are selling this? I have never bought something from marketplace...i dont know if i trust that enough. And the price is little bit "too" good...
