R34 Power Window Glitch

My R34 has just started having a FUN power window issue. The passenger side window (2DR) will not wind down from its own switch or from the drivers side. From the passenger side switch if I try to wind it up (while already all the way up) the window jiggles a bit, so up direction seems fine.

I started removing the screws to open the door, but the screw in the little holder on the door seems to be cross threaded and won't come out no matter how much I unscrew it. I've read the service manual but there isn't a description on opening the door panel. Any tips where to go from here ?

I've been able to answer my own question (yes I should have tried before posting).

But for any other noobs like myself, you don't take the whole door panel off for the elec window wire area. It pops up and to the right (for the drivers side door). I had a couple of loose wires which are now sorted, electric windows fully operational again
