Exhaust Heat Wrap

hey all,

im after some heat wrap for my exhaust, i know theres a trader who sells them on here but i am after a shop in melb were i can just walk in and get it.

does anybody of a shop in melb who sells the heat wrap?

I would think any decent exhaust place would have it or if your lucky autobahn i know my local one (bendigo) has heaps of stuff like that as well as alot of good import spare parts.

VPW have some really good stuff, I bought some from there for my old turbo setup

I got mine from Victorian Truck exhausts on Westall road springvale.

They are pretty cheap (if you pay cash)

Bought mine off Blackwoods. Ask for trade as you might be lucky. Got about 25metres of 25mm and 25metres of 50mm for under $100. Makes Autobarn look like a massive rip off. This was about 3 years ago though.

I put it under the heatshields on the gtr manifolds and it got that hot that it turned into melted into glass in one place. Makes a massive difference to heat in engine bay.

I really can't remember sorry mate. I seem to remember spending around $50 but couldn't tell you how much I bought? could have been 10 metres could have been 25.

If you are nearby you may as well drop in and enquire. Because it's a truck place and isn't a shop front then there's no wank factor. Take cash and you might get a discount.

Super-Cheap?

Anyone who have a 33gtst will know how hot that cross-over cooler pipe can get in summer. I wrapped it up with zorst heat wrap the different reading on my lazer temp reader was a major different, don't know about performance wise though .

No Supercheap won't have that stuff (I work at one on the weekends when I'm not doing car stuff)
