Price: $500

To Fit: (What car) RB20DET, RB25DET.

Comments: Would suit someone looking for a mild upgrade and/or replacing their damaged standard turbo.

The car has been used as a daily driver and has never been thrashed.

I have recently upgraded to a larger turbo hence the sale.

If you require further information please contact me.

Willing to ship at buyers expense.

Turbine wheel 49.5mm Compressor wheel 54.5mm

the turbo was supplied to me by a workshop when the original turbine let go. i was never given the original Precision invoice.

it was run on 12psi day to day but had been run on the dyno at 14psi. peak power made was 220rwkw but since it was a daily driver i turned the bleed valve down a whisker.

the ID tag is in the pictures and i spoke to John at Precision today about the turbo. he tells me it would be difficult but not impossible to find the precise details in the archive as they only have 2-3yrs on hand. i measured what was visible from the outside on the guidance/suggestion of John and as stated above this was the measurements and his informed opinion as to the expected hp range and that it was what they call a stage 1 rebuild.

the pics have obviously not migrated to the new format.

ask trust why they use bushbearing turbos?!?

i was supplied with this turbo by a workshop as a way of getting back on the road for a reasonable price.

for those choosing to go back to stock or looking for a cheap replacement for a damaged turbo with a little higher hp ceiling this might suit.

it is much younger and is in better condition than many 2nd hand standard R33 turbos.

if you need more pics or wish to inspect the turbo it is no problem.

    • Ha ha ha, that's fair mate! We have the crackhead dogs now. Mainly because the missus wants the crazy dogs while she still has the energy and capacity to be able to keep up with them! Ha ha our current two are both Working GSD, there brothers and sisters (from the same litters) are in Police, Corrective Services, and I believe one did end up in defence force too. They're wild and fun, yet right now, both curled up asleep on the lounge room floor while we watch some TV. Mal is very likely the next dog (unless I get my couch potato guardian dog 😛 )   What are your Kitties names? Are you planning some house work, like those high kitty shelves, built in scratching post, and some cat passages from one room to another room?
    • Maine Coone, did look at but to big and fluffy As for performance dogs, we had Mals at work, performance dogs are fun to watch, but, way to much work for this old rooster
    • Yep, it was only an option on the Q50 Hybrid.  Same in Japan as far as I know. And doesn't use a centre diff like the Suby's do, so not the same as the WRX.  But it also isn't a reactive AWD like other Nissan AWD vehicles are, eg. Murano/Xtrail/etc.
    • You should have got a Maine Coone then. Only thing is they're big. But so cool, and just like a dog. Or, just get yourself a high performance dog. That'll teach you for wanting Parkour indoors 😛
    • Are you thinking of Bens R32? I don't remember if his went through the bonnet itself, but it went through the chassis rail. Brad (RISKIN) bought it, and turned it into a track car. It's funny how anti people are of Jim Berry now. I remember when I pulled mine out (during an engine change) and inspected it and found it cracking badly. At that point in time so many people were even on SAU, were so pro Jim Berry, and that was after Bens GTR exploded his quite publically.
