Looking For A Lost Love

Hey guys, once upon a time i had a 1979 lancer, she was creamy in colour and stock as. I had to give her up as a youngen and get something that actually started in the cold mornings of canberra.

The issue I have now is I am considering buying a really cheapo car for getting to and from work and uni etc, I wouldn't mind spending abit on it to get it reliable though as I love the old schools character.

Just wondering if anyone has seen this car around canberra? Last time I saw it, it was in wanniassa rotting away in someones front lawn. Wish i offered to buy it off them when i saw it, but by the time i thought about it, i never saw it again :-(

I know its a long shot, but maybe its sitting in the front lawn of your neighbours place? Or maybe you seen it around?

I'd be checking the scrap yards. My lancer nearly ended up there and it's a 92 model.
