Nero_Tigre
Hi i was wondering if anyone knows which is better DSI (direct spark ignition) or SPLITFIRE ignition coils. Ive been told by a few people that they are pretty much the same, however, the DIS's are a fair bit cheaper. I'd like to get some oppinions before i go buy so any input would be much appreciated. bubba
I took my splitfires out because they had a miss at idle and constant throttle that my stockers didn't have. They also made my engine feel doughy and unresponsive.. maybe I got a bad batch? abu
I got splitfires in the GTR, they don't really seem any different to standard coils but do look a lot better than standards Standard coils do the job fine though, theres a few RB26s around making 350kw + on standard coils Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/231839-dsi-or-splitfire/#findComment-4073686 Share on other sites

Superspark coilpacks on the other hand, WILL improve the performance. which of course we can get you. check out www.superspark.com.au and if you are interested we retail them for $499.
