go right ahead then, up your pressure 5psi or 10 psi. Then add the rising rate of 1:1 to it. I run 22psi on some days, hmmm, that would give my standard injectors (if they were still fitted) a good, 20psi+ extra pressure. And people with the stock turbos, gonig from 7psi to 13psi, thats an extra 6psi, plus your claimed 5psi or even 10psi. 10psi to 15psi is not only a lot of pressure, but a lot more flow for these 15yo injectors..

You'd rather risk doing that, and blowing your engine, than getting new, fresh injectors?

Do you know how many GTR's and GTS-T's I have seen with stuffed injectors, running at standard pressure? Oh, but you're the expert. My bad.

I won't tune a car with a malpassi FPR now. I turn them away till they put a stock one back on or get a sard or similar

Last one i had on the dyno had 3 different AFR's on 3 power runs in a row... 11.5 12.5 and 13.5 LOL. those damn italians.. they think they are gods gift to the world.

ALSO i would get rid of that ECU. it is shit. Sorry to break the news to you.

yuck.

The last 2 cars I tuned, we had to take them off and bin them.

The AFR's would be from one extreme to another. You go WOT, the AFR's would go to 11:1, not touch the tune, then WOT again on the next run, 13:1. Put the standard one on, and AFR's would hold perfect.

They are junk.

have you found any info about the latency of your injectors yet chris?>

Nothing that refutes the info my current tune is based off unfortunately. Ah well, loving the flames for the moment! My fuel efficiency sucks though >.<

from what i have heard... but it depends on where you want to take the car...

for the 300 rwkw you mentioned you'll want a better ecu, bigger turbo (hks 3037 pro s or similar), injectors, fuel pump, Z32 afm OR map sensor'd ecu, cams are an option and then you'll be dancing around the limits of the stock engine.

300 rwkw is expensive in gtst form...

stick to 250-280 tops imho

280 is pretty good tho right? hmm alright...

i have heard good things about Power FC and also Wolf seems to have a few ppl happy with it..

what do you guys recommend?

Also will the SARD 550CC injectors do well with the power i want to reach?

Edited by palmer

yeah the 550's will be fine but as previously stated bombtrack is having latency issues with his... they are shooting fuel for too long and makin teh massif flames...

nismo 555's are probbaly the easiest option

power fc > wolf

haltech also a good ecu option...

ok

so get some Nismo 555 injectors, Z32 AFM, maybe some Cams and see how it runs with the EMS Stinger at the moment... if im happy ill leave it... if not sell the Stinger and get a Haltech or the Power FC

what fuel pump would be a good option?

the EMS stinger is a map sensor ecu so you wont need the Z32 AFM.

Just get the injectors turbo and see how you go with your ecu. if you like your engine and want it to last id get something else.

But try your luck. a new engine is only $1500

:D

I post this;

Discussing this with you seems pointless since you have nothing of substance to argue with.

Then you post this. You're blind, and possibly stupid.

I said exactly this about 10 posts back, and agree with you 100% Guilt-Toy, I refuse to tune cars with them installed because they completely waste my time trying to diagnose fuel pressure problems.

Factory ones work fine.

    • I would just put EBC back on the "I would not use their stuff" pile and move on.
    • Can I suggest you try EBC directly again and link them to as many competitor catalogues as you can to show their listing is incorrect, eg https://dba.com.au/product/front-4000-series-hd-brake-rotor-dba42304/ If you have access to an R33 GTST VIN and your VIN, you could also use a Nissan Parts lookup like Amayama to show them the part number is different between 33 GTST and 34 GTT which may get their attention
    • So i got reply from EBC and they just this site where you can clearly see those 296mm fronts on R34 GTT. I send them photos and "quotes" that 296mm are not for 34 GTT and they are too small. But it will be very hard to return them cuz nobody here knows 100% and they just copy those EBC catalogue :-D https://ebcbrakesdirect.com/automotive/nissan/skyline-r34
    • Hi, is the HKS  Tower Bar still available ? negotiable ? 🤔
    • From there, it is really just test and assemble. Plug the adapter cables from the unit into the back of the screen, then the other side to the car harness. Don't forget all the other plugs too! Run the cables behind the unit and screw it back into place (4 screws) and you should now have 3 cables to run from the top screen to the android unit. I ran them along the DS of the other AV units in the gap between their backets and the console, and used some corrugated tubing on the sharp edges of the bracket so the wires were safe. Plug the centre console and lower screen in temporarily and turn the car to ACC, the AV should fire up as normal. Hold the back button for 3 sec and Android should appear on the top screen. You need to set the input to Aux for audio (more on that later). I put the unit under the AC duct in the centre console, with the wifi antenna on top of the AC duct near the shifter, the bluetooth antenna on the AC duct under the centre console The GPS unit on top of the DS to AC duct; they all seem to work OK there are are out of the way. Neat cable routing is a pain. For the drive recorder I mounted it near the rear view mirror and run the cable in the headlining, across the a pillar and then down the inside of the a pillar seal to the DS lower dash. From there it goes across and to one USB input for the unit. The second USB input is attached to the ECUtec OBD dongle and the 3rd goes to the USB bulkhead connected I added in the centre console. This is how the centre console looks "tidied" up Note I didn't install the provided speaker, didn't use the 2.5mm IPod in line or the piggyback loom for the Ipod or change any DIP switches; they seem to only be required if you need to use the Ipod input rather than the AUX input. That's it, install done, I'll follow up with a separate post on how the unit works, but in summary it retains all factory functions and inputs (so I still use my phone to the car for calls), reverse still works like factory etc.
