ok i wanna pick your brains

car : r33 gtst

what i wanna do is install those 25mm larger guards front and rear

then throw on 18x9.5's all round with a +18 offset, Q1. will it sit flush with the new guards?

Q2. the lower offset as im lead to believe from other posts will increase my track, in effect will give me better handling/traction around the tracks, i just want to clarify this? obviously will it be noticeable or not?

other thing is the 25mm front guards have the hole that loos very rice to me, does that aid in cooling for brakes, because if it has a positive function i wont get it patched up to look like gtr front gaurds.

thanks guys

p.s. if you dont have anything interesting to add or have negative comments please dont reply :P

if ur after performance, there are other much easier, more effective and cheaper ways of doing it.

as far as the wheels sitting flush, the actual wheel will probably sit flush or out a few mm, if your after good looking fitment it will depend on what tyres u plan on running.

i know there are easier ways and cheaper ways, i wish people would stop stating the obvious, BUT because im gonna get these gaurds anyway so i can fit the +18 offset rims, all i wanna know is will it make a noticeable improvement to handling on a track?

any comments about the holes on these guards?

depends, if nothing else is changed u may notice some handling changes, depends on the level ur at, i didnt notice heaps of difference when playing around with wheels, unfortunately with the different wheels came different tyres, so it made it hard to compare.
