Krishy
i think SAU for those that are interested should make a indoor and outdoor team I am for either or both outdoor is a little more relaxed and bit of fun indoor is just fast paced and hectic try to see if we get enough people for a outdoor team then try to join a league or something And +1 for annual matches with NS or other clubs for that matter we could have a annual event of Soccer, cricket, footy, rugby....or whatever it will be a great fun i reackon Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/237096-cricket/page/2/#findComment-4149526 Share on other sites
pkblade
cricket, hmmm, I am too asian for it, too short, too little, not strong enough to hold the cricket bat (thus can't swing it properly), can't throw the ball properly (usually goes upwards for some reason instead of forward), can't run fast enough, sigh, being asian, you know..... sucks..... More than half the people that play cricket in the world are Asian . I use to play back in school through to part of uni...also on occassions played some indoor cricket for Blacktown in Sydney. But, yeah spending 5 odd hours of ya wkend in 40degree heat wasn't always fun...nor was facing A grade and state bowlers Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/237096-cricket/page/2/#findComment-4149528 Share on other sites

I was at Ingle Farm for a year, they were my second club, i was playing at Jets at the time and used Ingle Farm as my fall back club if i didnt get selected. Fortunately i played the whole year now Billsy and Chris Hannon (who used to play for us) are playing for us Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/237096-cricket/page/2/#findComment-4150081 Share on other sites
Evil34
I played at prospect and TTG for a while and then went to play for Walkerville and opened the bowling for them in their premier grade side. Now i am just out to enjoy and play where ever they put me at Ingle Farm which will probably be the B grade side this year again unless i can get fit and back to my old self as i have a good year with the ball.
