So after many topics about Perth cruises for us, nothing ever happened and nothing got planned so this is the thread that will get things into motion. (hopefully)

Im just asking a few questions first are we interested in a doing a cruise up to the hills or York, Toodyay or south with a stop somewhere for a bite to eat (something like our last adventures)or are you wanting to have a social get together without the cruise instead?

Dates i was looking at would be around Sat/Sun Weekend 25-26th October or Sat/Sund Weekend 8-9th November. This would give plenty of time to organise, sort and book if need be etc.

throw your ideas etc in here and lets organise to have the next meet :D

Cheers

too many weddings and interstate trips for me to commit to October but November would be sweet!

I am up for anything, but a small cruise combined with a social get together at the end would be my preference. Obviously something at least a little kid friendly would be good, coz if I wanted to hoon about with tools then there are plenty of other options available.

South would be good too - maybe dwellingup or similar? Or, if people are up for an adventure maybe even a picnic at somewhere like Logue Brook Dam.

I would be up for a cruise in november as october is full of wedding as well for me also doing the engine swap.

I know an awesome cruise route down south, takes a while but is sweet. For you perth guys allow a full day.

Basically meet here in bunbury at BP australaind (huge carpark and last chance to fill up on BP98) then go to bridgetown via collie, in bridgetown there's a place to stop for those of us with kids, stretch get something to nibble etc (there's a great lolly shop)

Then from bridgetown through to Nannup (brockman highway, awesome road bit bumpy and single lane sometimes but worth it, the idiots stay at home for this one).

Then Nannup to Balignup, at the end of the road as you come into Balignup there is an awesome tavern with really good food and not bad prices, and a play ground for the kids.

Then from Balignup you go back through donnybrook to bunbury or you can go through to Busselton. So basically at nannup everyone makes there own way home.

We have done this one before and if you leave early in the morning you make the tavern by lunch.

I have the map route at work i will try and get it 2moro.

Just an idea.

how in the hell did you manage to leave donelly river off there?

Great route, but the road from brigetown to donelly river is an absolute cracker IMO

Other than that, I can def vouch for this route.

i'd come along but that weekend is no good for me. family stuff on..

dates arent confirmed at all as of yet...trying to figure out if October or Nov suit....looks like November is working at this stage...???

Ok i'll get the map route 2moro and see if we can incorporate it in??

i havent organised anything myself as the car will be undergoing work in a couple of weeks and trying to get this yellow sticker off, i dont know how long the conversion will take me but should be right for mid to late november, i can always bring the gto if the stagea aint going anyway.

Mid to late Nov gonna be the best for me to.

I have the map route now from work. Not gonna post it up coz there could be people watching :(

if anyone wants it i can send it to them and we can think bout it, just an idea.

    • The 296mm rotors are the R33 turbo brakes. The 310mm rotors are the R34 turbo brakes. The calipers are nearly the same, but not. They're the same caliper but the R34 caliper has longer legs so that it sits out far enough to go over the rotor. The pads are the same for both. When you say, "I bough tsome EBC"....did you just mean pads? Or rotors? 310mm rotors fit under 17" wheels. There may be some wheels without enough clearance though. I can't fit my fingers between the barrel of my wheel and the "corners" of my R34 calipers, but there is plenty of room behind the spokes. This is on Enkei RPF1. You can fit 324mm rotors inside a 17" wheel, but I'd be willing to bet that it would be close to impossible with the Nissan/Sumitomo caliper (using an adapter, of course), because the Sumitomo caliper is fatter than the Brembo caliper that is supposed to go on the 324mm rotors.
    • Hi. Can someone tell me what brakes(and mainly WHERE) can i buy brakes on R34 GTT? I bought some EBC which SHOULD go on my car(i have GT but it has GTT brakes) but it does not fit, Brakes are "too" small(296mm) Are 310mm be good or? I have 17 inch wheel so no "big boys" but for me driving i just need one that fits and i can get here in EU/Czech.
    • Since winter isn't that harsh anymore in Poland, i will definetely drive it 365 days a year 😉. But if the snow hits i will try it for sure and let U know. Only swap i am planning to do is of course R34 GTR front 😍.
    • Hey. Very valuable information about pitwork, I will pay attention when buying any consumable parts 🙏 As for the carpets - I got a handful of information from nengun, from which it appears that indeed the carpets for the driver's side are OEM. They are not able to show me any pictures due to the long chain of different sales entities but after I place the order, as soon as the goods arrive at the nengun warehouse from which they will send the shipment to me they can send me photos and if my purchase differs from OEM I can immediately return it / cancel the purchase. I think I will give it a try 😉. Of course i'll let you know what's what as soon as i get them P.s. I know the topic is not relevant to the thread, but both nengun and amayama have these SICK 😍 trunk room lamps available. Do you know anyone who ordered them? I need to have one in my car
