Help, for the love of god help

As the topic states i don't know what happened i haven't reset the power fc but there are absalutlly no values in the IGN map and the INJ map has all 050 values.

I'm trying to run 14psi but it seems to be taking forever to get there at about 6000rpm i've made about 6-7psi boost

can some one give me some basic values to input into both the IGN and INJ maps's i'll list my mods

the car alway's felt slugish i wonder if it's because there weren't any imput's in it when i first got it . It has been tuned before by CRD but that was before i picked it up.

The car drives and stuff just doesn't feel like a gtr feels like a stock gtst.

It's an r 32 GTR

covered in the PFC FAQ - its in my signature

your PFC is locked

and when you do it get it unlocked express your disastifaction to CRD for locking your own property

they have no right to lock your PFC tune so any expenses incurred from you unlocking it, i would send them an invoice for it

they are muppets for locking your PFC tune - i am surprised a workshop of that nature and level does this - its completely stupid and pointless

if the owner wishes to fiddle with their own tune and erase settings or change numbers, let them, its upto the owner and not the workshop to police it

the tune they supply onto your car is tailored for your car and its your own intellectual property and not theirs

god this makes me angry

is there any way to unlock it,with out going to crd to unlock it.

any one (workshop or someone else) with datalogit can unlock it for you

its not locked by a password or a code, its just a tickbox in the apexi/datalogit software

1). plug in datalogit

2). read all

3). untick "locked"

4). update

all done

Never thought CRD would do this?

i would disagree, if the owner fiddles and breaks stuff, thats their own fault

it would be unreasonable for a workshop to replace a busted engine if the owner fiddles with the tune and it goes bang

that would be unrealistic expectation from both the owner and the workshop - owner ownus always applies

locking a PFC usually just annoys the owner

you buy a stand alone manageable ecu to manage it

its not a stand alone unamanageable ecu

yeah but owners will play with the tune, it goes bang, then they take it back and convieniently forget to mention the part where they tried some home tuning, and try to put the cost of the rebuild onto the shop

that said i still dont support locking ECU's, unless its for EPA reasons

    • Hi all, Long time since I've posted here. Looking for some advice on what I can remove to further identify the cause of my issues.  I can move the passenger seat forward and back but the knob used to adjust the seat angle is pretty much free spinning, there's very little resistance.  Removing the side cover I can see that the chain is intact but the shaft for the adjustment spins without the gear attached to it moving.  What's my next step for disassembly here? Is this a common fault? Just being a little cautious as I didn't want to start removing bolts for a spring to fly out or something equally as stupid.  Cheers
    • Those above shitboxes, mediocre and above usually have a turbo strapped to them, hence the slightly higher octane is required.
    • Hi all,   long time listener, first time caller   i was wondering if anyone can help me identify a transistor on the climate control unit board that decided to fry itself   I've circled it in the attached photo   any help would be appreciated
    • I mean, I got two VASS engineers to refuse to cert my own coilovers stating those very laws. Appendix B makes it pretty clear what it considers 'Variable Suspension' to be. In my lived experience they can't certify something that isn't actually in the list as something that requires certification. In the VASS engineering checklist they have to complete (LS3/NCOP11) and sign on there is nothing there. All the references inside NCOP11 state that if it's variable by the driver that height needs to maintain 100mm while the car is in motion. It states the car is lowered lowering blocks and other types of things are acceptable. Dialling out a shock is about as 'user adjustable' as changing any other suspension component lol. I wanted to have it signed off to dissuade HWP and RWC testers to state the suspension is legal to avoid having this discussion with them. The real problem is that Police and RWC/Pink/Blue slip people will say it needs engineering, and the engineers will state it doesn't need engineering. It is hugely irritating when aforementioned people get all "i know the rules mate feck off" when they don't, and the actual engineers are pleasant as all hell and do know the rules. Cars failing RWC for things that aren't listed in the RWC requirements is another thing here entirely!
    • I don't. I mean, mine's not a GTR, but it is a 32 with a lot of GTR stuff on it. But regardless, I typically buy from local suppliers. Getting stuff from Japan is seldom worth the pain. Buying from RHDJapan usually ends up in the final total of your basket being about double what you thought it would be, after all the bullshit fees and such are added on.
