Stupid c*nts, they probably tried the old commodore trick.. jump on the roof and the car doors open thinking it's been in a rollover. That's the lamest trick in the fking book and it doesn't work on skylines.. how stupid can you get.

is that a commodore safety feature??????????????????????????????????????????

I've never heard of that before

makes sense (to them maybe) if thats why they bashed the roof in

sucks massively froggy, hope insurance sorts you out ok.

security guard from work doesnt know skylines too well but came across what he was sure was a 33gtr in woodville last night dumped. Smashed window, destroyed steering column, stereo ripped out and some small damage to exterior. He called cops and hung around till they came and picked it up. School holidays is off to a good start it seems, wankers.

Yep, but you don't have to bash it that hard.

That is just disgraceful. Hope insurance covers it all, and it all works out. Wouldn't you just love to have caught the buggers in the act and have had a golf club handy?!

....stupid question, but one I have to ask... if i opened my front door, and something that looked like a Gorilla was jumping up and down on the roof of my car....am I allowed to shoot it with my air rifle? Given i have a license :nyaanyaa: (not to kill).

In all seriousness this is just pathetic and hate how it affects those doing no wrong. While others get away with it and when you think two other peoples cars (if they were confirmed stolen - highly likely) were also ruined.

not untill a certain 49 people are in jail or dead!

only problem is they do get caught and get locked up but get out again.... the system is just too soft, obviously these deros have no life and prob dont mind getting locked up cos they'll get a free nice feed for a few days...

all the best getting it fixed mate, that really is disgraceful :nyaanyaa:

i live in the western suburbs aswell, about a year ago the same gang tried 2 break into my car out my house, heard a loud smashing noise, ran out and they were trying to smash my drivers side window in with a full bottle of beer, lucky for me it was only the bottle that broke and left beer and glass all over my car, when i ran out i also got pelted with a beer bottle, ran inside and rang the cops and could still hear them trying to break in, then they finally gave up and left in a commodore

So sorry for you mate. Their low life scum, hope they die in the next car they steal.

:D

... not a Skyline or Stagea of course :D

Yeah, western suburbs suck a tad. I see the looks when I drive thru some western areas, the low lifes staring at my Stagea, clearly trying to work out how they would steal it :)

3 black bastards tried stealing the GF's scooter ... 2 minutes after I took delivery of it ;) Went inside to put down the paperwork, walked outside and there is one guy on the footpath looking out for the public, one standing near the front door loooking out for me (when he saw me he did an about turn and walked off quick), and the third was trying to get the scooter off its stand ... backwards (numbnuts)! I was so gob-smacked by how brazen they were it took a while to 'click'. By this time the third black bastard was running and loosing his footing on the gravel. I was quick enough to trip him up and I was standing over him ready to give him a beating! The fact that he looked 13yo and shit scared kinda made me pause. He scrambled off and I yell threats at them. Unbelievable!

:D

    • I'm normally copping my own abuse from neglecting my daily drivers. "Those suspension bushes will last a bit more", "Don't worry about the oil leak, just keep topping it up". The project cars I'm always doing things slowly on them as I'm wanting them to be done better, and neater, and nicer. Luckily I don't have to deal with 18 year old Matt's "Learning to wire" stuff in the project cars. And there's only one piece of wiring I'm displeased about in the Landcruiser, and it's about to be cut out... However, the box loads of parts that have been going through this place lately for the Landcruiser... Brake pads Brake Rotors Full handbrake overhaul Wheel Bearings Seals Swivel hubs Steering Boxes Half the suspension joints Shocks Air bags (Ones to go in the rear springs for towing) Water pump Timing kit Lower timing case Harmonic Balancer Radiator Lots of other little seals and shits Gas struts for the bonnet New power window switches And god knows what else I've forgotten... Ha ha ha I have my fingers crossed the pinion seals don't start leaking on the diffs, that the transfer case doesn't leak, and the gearbox input shaft doesn't leak, nor the rear main seal. As they're about the only seals I haven't replaced in the driveline! I'm seriously eyeing off buying new caliper rebuild kits front and rear brake calipers... I'll probably recheck all the valve clearances soon too, and hopefully, it should be all good and sweet to haul some long distance trips again!
    • Every time I pull my 3x gauges out of the console and see the crack-addict way that I did the wiring, and I just can't bring myself to tear it all apart and "make it nice", because it is currently working. In fact, the last time I was in there I probably made it worse.
    • The best part is when you own the car long enough that you look back and find your OWN ham fisted amateur shit!
    • The annoying part about neglect, is when you start to replace one thing, and find ten more broken things. Ham fisted monkey repairs you normally only find out about when trying to do something unrelated! Ha ha   Neglect you can kind of anticipate the huge costs to fix it all. Ham fistedness is normally a shock the first time your work on a new old car, as everything "looked" good before.
