Nothing wrong with auto, i love to relax!

both my s15 and r33 and BMW were auto's; i had to learn to drive manual when i got my gtr.

Best buy a manual though as there is a higher demand for manual cars when it comes times to sell it

The manual Gts-t has about 188kw and auto has about the same.. there isent really any kW diff that you would notice , but do you really want an auto? just get manual more fun + you get a upper body workout :0 , but if you wanna get auto anyway just go for it its much more relaxing and you still get that power surge when u need/want it.

LOL what are you whipped.. how serious is this "girlfriend" as i would bitch slap you right now if she's just a girl friend and nothing serious... cause if you's broke up.. then you've just made a decision that you'd regret..

tell the woman to get her own car lol

auto has alittle more torque than a manual from around 500-2500 rpm, after that the manual has more torque, standard auto will seem to accelerate from a stop/ start quicker due to the low range torque (gives you the g force acceleration), manual is more versatile, less probs, save on fuel, easier to sell, easier to thrash lol

I'd choose manual unless your usuing it as a daily city drive.....

I reckon manual is faster, and more fun. I tought my girlfriend how to drive manual, she loves it, maybe you should do the same. :P

was it hard lol ?

i have to do the same thing, well convince her autos are shit house in most cases. she is like " why would you want a manual when auto can do it for you"

i can't explain it to her, i've tried showing her but lol.

    • Have you flushed the initial fluid yet? It should look like a rainbow unicorn shat glitter into it. 2nd or 3rd fluid change is when you party.
    • all brand new unit from Tomei, fluid, bearings, etc. Tomei said they call it a 1.5 lsd because its 100 percent lock up under acceleration and 50 percent under deacceleration.  as I mentioned I used their fluid, install and their break-in procedure, (alot of figure 8's) but even when driving straight, or even slowly backing out of garage for first time, (at 2 mph) then driving to and from figure 8 parking lot, each tire in the rear would sporadically grab, skip, bounce, shutter and skip, shutter back a force I could feel causing clutch to slip then grab, at any speed. shaking entire car. I removed unit, since I put stock back in and all is fine, via process of elimination, its something with the lsd unit itself. I wasn't going to beat up the entire car more or change anything else for no reason as I had a feeling something in the lsd itself was wrong as everything was fine before this alone was installed and I rechecked over everything else after first time backing out I suspected an issue. I'll probably sadly already need new tires now just from trying to drive it 5 miles and performing the figure 8 break in. but if someone has any ideas I'm all ears
    • Ok thanks..that was my second question if i can somehow bypass this even with Nistune(that is all i have right now...aparat from stock ECU. So with some aftemarket it can by "bypassed" or make it work?  I know there is Link or Haltech (mainly used). We have ECUmaster here so i will gather some info about it.
