Hi Guys,

Just wondering if you can help me. I had a blown right-hand side headlight globe on my 1993. Now I got a R33 with both headlights which don't work after attempting to change the globes. I changed both new globes and checked all fuses. No fuse seem to be blown and I checked both the inside fuse box and the fuse box on the engine bay.

By the way can any of you guys tell me which fuses are for the headlights both left and right. Everything is in Japanese on my R33. I saw a diagram of a R33 fuse box on this forum but is looks nothing like my one.

Appreciate your assistance.

Try this [see attachment], print it, laminate it, and stick it on the interior fuse box lid, if you didn't get the right globes, or they are not earthed properly that will also do it.

Thanks for your advice and the diagram fellas, much appreciated.

Boss-zilla if you knew how to read which I doubt, you would realise in my original thread that I clearly indicated that I encounted this problem when I changed my globes, WHICH OBVIOUSLY MEANS I PLUGGED IT IN!!.

Like i said i was not having a go at you as i have seen people do this. infact the r32's can have two plugs in series for the head light globs and while changing them people have left one unpluged. There is no need to go off like you have as sometimes it is that easy also that nice little PM you sent has been reported, next time dont join a forum then abuse people.

Also the first rule of thumb when fault finding is to look at anything you have done that may, stress may have contributed to the fault.

If anyone had asked me what to look at if they had this problem i would have said the same.

1.Check the connection (are they pluged in?)

2.Check the fuse's

3.Get a test light and check there is power to the connectors.

So as you can see i was not having a go at you and next time when asking for help IF YOU think that someone is having a go there is NO NEED to write an abusive PM to said person because in future they and others that hear about it may not help.

    • Not at all, pure street use, touge, even drag strip and you'll be fine   There's a larger version of it too, however would be overkill for your application. If you do plan on using that sump, might as well fit a headdrain/crank case vent to help alleviate crank case pressure. Your mechanic will also notice you cannot re-use the AWD windage trays on the motor too, as it fouls with the AWD -> RWD sump. However given your usage, you'll be fine.
    • @GTSBoy yeah but the MAIN problem is that "you" guys may know that but i/my mechanic did not. I literally spend hours to find differences between Stagea and Skyline engine (even here) and found kinda "nothing" Yeah one guy mentioned that the block is larger/wider but nothing about the oil pan. Of course AWD has different one but "everybody" says...yeah just slap RWD pan... and the parts number for my N/A engine and NEO DET were the same so iam using one from my old engine. And of course being in EU/Czech many of the sites did not even show(i need VPN to be here)... @MBS206NO it is not my channel and not my video. Dont even know the guy. I just post this as a reference cuz i have the same problem. As i said you guys in AU/NZD may know this but here it is kinda a new info cuz IF someone doing this swap they already have oil pan or they make custom one.  @Dose Pipe Sutututu Yeah it is AWD RB25DET NEO Yeah as you mentioned the pick up is in a different place ...but i do not drift or track the car. It is and will be strictly street and just "casual" weekend cruiser. With that "custom" pan as shown in the video...could there be some problems?  For others. Iam sorry if that topic "looks" like i want to show/boost some YT channel or numbers. Iam quite the opposite.  I would rather drive my car thru sewers than get the attention that this car gets here. I do not have any YT channel nor IG/Twitter or TikTok. I just want some info from time to time cuz here...there is none :-)
