Hey guys.

Well. after one of those days of a closed door meeting with the boss, suprisingly walked out with a bonus. Yay was that a relieve.

Anyways. Point of the story. Ive now got $1500 to spend.

Now i guess that gives me 3 options.

- Tell the wife and spend it on the house

- Bank it

- Splurge it all on the car

Ok. I already think ive made my decision. I currently have a set of MT streets coming my way (got a drag day on Nov 23). As well as a set of 18" Enkeis coming my way also. Car in question is a 96 R33 Gts-t with all the main mods running STOCK turbo.(with no goal of upgrading), as well as Tein Coilovers. Car mostly see's street use with bit of Drag thrown in.

Just a case of deciding what to get.

Things i have come up with so far

- Whiteline Sway bars

- Remap Ecu

- New seats

- GTR spoiler

- Anything i cant think of at the moment!!!

What would you's get. Anything that might take off a tenth or 2 off the times without requiring turbo change would be good. Although car see's just as many show and shines as it does drag days. So the seats and spoiler would be alright too.

Let me know your thoughts.

Cheers. Luke

Hiya Luke,

Don't you get the guilts?

Your wife loves you very very much!

You must do the the fair and right thing by her!

Don't you feel sorry for her whilst she waits for you to say that...

i) the meal she made was tops

ii) the magic in bed was the best you ever had

iii) you can give 10 reasons why you love her to bits

iv) you'll take her 'parking' in your Nissan and give her an ECU (Electro-convulsive-underbelly)

and then...

hand over to her $750!

Being all generous (and buttered up), she'll say,

"No You Keep Half Dearest!"

Now that $375 + $750 (still in your pocket) = $1,125 for your ECU (from F/S on SAU) and Tune!

    • Can we place bets? My money is on there is always the option to use the 1 way profile. So the diff is either 2 way and 1 way, or 1.5 way or 1 way.
    • I also used Knox driveshafts when I the slip yoke T56 to the 3bolted TR6060 type. I believe I was one of his first jobs as it literally changed hands when I was there, started by the old owner and finished by the new. Everyone seemed pretty great about it. So wasn't shy/seemed pretty knowledgeable when dealing with weird custom people like me.
    • Just a reminder orange park was cool back in the day   and drifting the main circuit was even cooler   f**k I miss that car
    • We used Knox Drive shafts years ago when we were doing gravel rally, good guy but I heard it had changed hands? He's got a lot of stuff and is miles cheaper than GJ and so on. He used to have a lathe setup with a MIG torch on the tool holder so he could get the uni welds just right, quite a clever guy. I just got a driveshaft done for my sequential installation and that was through Balancing Services Australia in Preston, they did the Gibson cars in the old days. New genuine CV's, billet yoke, new centre bearing and chome moly shaft was $2k.
    • Thanks for sharing that mate, I've got a couple of spares on the shelf but all the unis are tight....will give old mate a shout. BTW are you sure it wasn't just a $400 paint job? Any detail of what they replaced (cut/reweld?)
