Spotted T4NK down in sydney last night, heading north I think. Was a BB R34 on white rims, with an offset plate anyway!

haha yep i was on my way home from work, then i had to go back to manly to pick my dad up... where u in the bayside blue 34 that i passed on the pacific highway just after/before Turra?

Spotted a dark blue 33? (I think) with white mags at Wallsend this arvo

Just a word of warning if I see you driving again like you did today I will report you to the police.

Roundabouts are NOT for drift practice and a super loud exhaust does not make your car go faster, it only makes you look and sound like a tool.

Tank, is that your gtr parked...well was

Parked next to my i30 at payment fitness?

um, im not sure, i go to plannet fitness at West Gosford, if that was where u saw it then yes it was, white on blue, looks like a mirror atm, waxed it like one of my french girls.

spotted a maroon R32 the sarvo at south kincumber..... didnt get a wave back :/ always akward when that happens..... haha and the misses goes who was that LOL

and a black R32 going up the central coast highway going passed avoca drive on saturday i think.......... either high 2nd gear or high 3rd gear on full boost did sound pretty tough as you went passed!

Clean your white wheels tank haha

Haha my mx5 wheels were white, too much brake dust and like you cleaned all the time. I gave up and painted them black! Easy as now!

Qfm's are great!

and yesterday arvo at daleys point / empire bay a white r33 gtst i think, plates HER25T, and im pretty sure a chick was driving.... go figure!

    • They are under bucket shims. Tomei provides a test shim kit and then any measurement of shim required.
    • I always wondered how you were supposed to buy a set of 24 buckets and somehow magically have every single one of them yield exactly the desired clearance. I would have thought you'd need to assemble a cam with either 12 "sample" or "example" buckets of known top thickness (or a single such sample/example 12 times over!!) measure clearances at every valve, and then do the usual math to work out what the actual "shimness" of each bucket needed to be, before buying the required buckets to make up he thicknesses that you didn't have on hand.
    • I now seem to be limited in power due to my rev limit/hydraulic lifters in my built RB25. I'm looking into converting over to Tomei solid lifters. Question for anyone that has done the conversion. I was always under the impression that when using the Tomei solid lifter conversion, you would also require new valves (Longer or shorter stems, I can't remember which).  I don't know where I got this idea, as so far I see no mention of this in any of the Tomei documentation. It just states I need the Tomei solid buckets, solid lifter cams and upgraded springs. As my head is already built, all I would need is another set of 1000$ Kelford cams, 500$ buckets and about 4H hours of my time installing and I'm off to the races!?!? There's no way it's that simple, I must be missing something?
