WARDY32
Ive neen offered one at a really good price off a mate, just wondering if anyone has one on a RB25 and how does it go? The car will be mainly a street car, entered in the odd drift round.. lookin at makin around 280rwkw whats your thoughts? Kranker
fair few people are running them on their RB30s with good results (have a browse of the RB30 dyno thread if you want), so it shouldnt be too small might be a touch laggier on a 2.5 than on the 3.0l. but it should make 280rwkw fairly easily. So i wouldnt worry about it being to small, but you might find something that would make 280rwkw and be more responsive (GT30R). but if its at a good price how can you resist? dano4127
I haven't heard of anyone running a .63 housing on an RB30 I reckon that would be choking it up a bit Lots of people run the .82 or 1.06 housing in the RB30's though I run 1.06 I think the .82 is the perfect housing for a 25, a friend of mine runs one on a stock 25 with 410hp and is a nice balance between lag/response and the same turbo on Noel (Fineline's) car is cracking over 500hp. If your thinking more along the lines of drift the .63 would probably be quite good as its going to come quicker than the larger housings but at the end of the day there is better turbos out there for your application GT30 frame is probably what you should be looking into but as Kranker said if the price is good chuck it on, should chirp second Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/242405-gt35r-with-63-exh-housing/#findComment-4227357 Share on other sites
Adriano
I fitted one to an rb26, IMO the exhaust housing chokes it a bit, the car made 320rwkw at 16 psi. a better setup would be a gt3076 with either a .63 or .86 housing. Lithium
I fitted one to an rb26, IMO the exhaust housing chokes it a bit, the car made 320rwkw at 16 psi. a better setup would be a gt3076 with either a .63 or .86 housing. .82a/r, the only "GT3076Rs" with a .86 are the horrid T25 flanged ones with a trimmed turbine. Yuck. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/242405-gt35r-with-63-exh-housing/#findComment-4228276 Share on other sites
2rismo
There's probably better options for your goals but if the price is that good it'll be a great turbo for your 25. Guilt-Toy
it will be a perfect turbino for a 25. msnismo was running one and she cracked 340rwkw (with other mods that girls knows how to spend her money) Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/242405-gt35r-with-63-exh-housing/#findComment-4228965 Share on other sites
