  1. yeh i agree with ur opinions on porsche styling 100%, but a large percentage of the general public still think a 911 is a nice looking car, thats what i was getting.
  2. I agree scathing, Sssanyong does make truly hideous cars, but thats to be expected, they cant do any better, its like that one retarded kid in primary school who does crap drawings, you cant blame him, he's a retard. The Cayenne and the Panamera are made by a company that is supposed to make good looking cars. Thus making the two hideous porsches far worse in my book than any Ssanyong. My votes go to the DB9 and the Alfa 8C, stunning to look at, yet not overdone.
  3. why did subaru make it look like a holden epica? dad is looking to replace his MPS6 in the next few months, and a new liberty GT or 3.6R were at the top of the list...but not after seeing pictures. they are genuinley ugly, ugly enough to put him off buying one completely. another fail from subaru's design department he is now looking at an MY08 STi model
  4. im with madbung, R31Nismoid can you please sticky this thread, so all the new members can read it and learn all "the facts" about the benifits of different cylinder arrangements and forced induction. vital information here, good stuff
  5. Bee*R do a kit, think they call it an R334
  6. I dont think the part that you have installed between the steering wheel and the seat can run a 9. hell, it cant safely run an 11. forget about the bigger turbo, and focus on upgrading that. i think your should turn the boost down to say 20psi, sort out the chassis, sort out ur driving! sort out the tune. get the thing running consistantly and safely. once this has been done then start to increase the boost. then and only then, once you have lots of experience with your current set up should you even consider moving to a larger turbo.
  7. with the gtr front guards, bonnet, and hinges (and propably other parts, do a search for what is needed) the front bumper should fit but be prepared to spend $$$ the side skirts and rear bumper will not fit. you will need gtr rear guards and maybe other bits and pieces. there are a few topics floating around here by guys who have gone through the process of fitting GTR bodykits to GTTs, they are worth a look before you go any further IMO you are better off looking for a GTT copy of the kit
  8. the one in the pic is on a GTR, and i dont think Do Luck make a version for the GTT, but i may be wrong on this so basically, no, the front bumper wont fit your 4 door. unless you fit a GTR bonnet and front guards you may however find someone making a copy of the kit that does fit a GTT
  9. im not sure where you are looking at these cars, but a 2 sec look on carsales shows that generally a 25GT should be significantly less than a GTT, and well under $20k. find a cheaper 25GT, drive that around for a year or two. then you can decide if you want to upgrade to a GTT.
  10. both of your front bars are top secret, or top secret copies. 83cks yours is known as a Top Secret GTT style bumper NZMO yours is known as a Top Secret GTR style bumper hope that clears it up
  11. Nice result mate! Always good to see a project end up with such a great result You've inspired me to move $1k out of my "Holiday" fund into my "RB30" fund She looks like she pulls nice and hard up top, what size Kelfords did you use?
  12. why do you want to stop power going to the front? burnouts before a drag race? drifting? using an attessa conroler and running the car in 100% rear drive can damage the clutch packs if used for long periods, or under heavy load there are plenty of topics on this, do a search to find out more. have a read of this, its about stageas but its essentially the same attessa system as in your GTS4, lots of good info from guys who have actually messed around with the system http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ru....html&st=20
  13. mate i dont know if i want to see a video of you trying to run a 10, running an 11.2 nearly killed you and someone else. you can just see a guy in the 2nd video at 0:24 with his hands on his headshouting "RE MALAKA!" that comments sums it up beautifully.
  14. if your tuner knows vipec, and has never used nistune, then vipec is the way to go, plain and simple
  15. are you sure the 1uz weighs more than the 2j NZM.031? on a few toyota sites, they say that a bare 2j is about 181kg and a bare 1uz is about 175kg. its not much in the sceme of things, but it certainly isnt a heavier engine from the looks of things. also its inherantly a shorter engine being only 4 cyls long instead of 6, so it would have a more centralised weight distribution
  16. From what i have read they run pretty much the same or very similar drivetrain to the R33 GTR, but obviously with the RB25DE Neo They come in both 2 and 4 doors Suspension is a long way off the GTR They come with the soft run of the mill R34 suspension, the GT-V and the GT-T run sportier/firmer suspension, and the GT-R is different and better again But like all skylines the parts are available to get them handling nicely
  17. here are a few links to get you started, it has been covered thoroughly before, but a sticky would be a nice addition to the N/A section http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Si...amp;hl=na+turbo http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Rb...amp;hl=na+turbo http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Di...amp;hl=na+turbo http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Tu...amp;hl=na+turbo http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Di...amp;hl=na+turbo these and many more came up from a search of just the words "na turbo" in the titles of topics, there are heaps more. I also plan to get an R34 4 door GT-Four next year (all money from the last 2 years has gone into a European Holiday so car plans are on hold), but I wont buy the car until i can afford the car, a Stagea AWD RB25det Neo motor, some aftermarket management, suspension and brake upgrades all at the same time. However if i didnt want an AWD sedan, i would have just bought a GT-T and not gone down the path of turbocharging an NA R34. edit: to anwer ur 2nd question...no, removing your turbo doesnt mean you can drive your car on your P's. Your car is still in the system as an R34 GT-T witch in the eyes of the police/gov is a turbo car, regardless of if the turbo is removed or not.
  18. Just anothe example of the way the UK is becoming a nanny state, and lets hope Aus doesnt follow suit Yes semi-slick tyres perform worse in the wet, but what about the improved performance in the dry? Yes they could be dangerous for a driver that doesnt know this, but every track car enthusiast knows that they dont stick as well in the wet and drives accordingly, or keeps it in the garage on a wet day. Dont ban them, just make sure that when someone buys a car with these tyres that the are fully aware of the reduction in wet performance. Id like to see a comparison of an RE55 in the wet with a Ling Long tyre from China. Should they also ban budget tyres? or how bout the fact that we still have to adhere to the same (or lower) speed limits that were initially applied to cars 30+ years ago, when even the best tyre on the market at that time, performed worse in the wet, than a modern semi-slick? Like pretty much every issue that comes up these days, the answer isnt tougher laws or bans, but in education and training. either that or we should have a world wide extermination of stupid people...i like that idea most
  19. 4.0L TVR Speed Six motor from the Sagaris ..mmmmmm up to 305kw naturally aspirated or for the real men the 4.2L supercharged out of the TVR Typhon 435kw now thats a straight 6
  20. dude uve already got this in one thread, doesnt need to be here aswell use the forum well, its full of knowledgeable people and lots of good info, but dont spam it. if you keep all the responses to your question in your original thread it will be easier for you, and anyone looking it up in the future to keep track of. admins and mods: feel free to delete my post when you deem appropriate in the interest of keeping the thread consice and on topic
  21. mate this is a text book freudian-slip you are asking about putting a neo head on a RB26 bottom end...but you posted it in the RB30 section i think deep down you want to put this head on an RB30 bottom end... go on...u know u want to
  22. wrong forum, try the cefiro specific section, under "Skyline & Other Vehicle Specific Discussion"
  23. for some reason im overcome with a sudden need to duy DC shoes....
  24. dont think they have significantly different blocks, people run both neo heads and hydraulic rb25 heads on RB30 blocks, so i cant see why you couldnt fit one to a non-neo rb25 but dont take my word as gospel, im just taking an guess from i know if it is possible, then the advantages would be changing from hydraulic lifters to solid lifters (like on a 26), and more modern cyl head design. but for the cost involved it would probably be just as easy to put an rb26 head on your block the neo also has smaller combustion chambers than both the rb25 and 26 so you will be raising your compression ratio. so you will probably need to fit some lower comp pistons to get ur comp ratio where you want it. in my opinion its a bit pointless. yes the neo is a slightly better head but i cant see you gaining a great deal of power or reducing emissions
