All bets its a Legnum.

I've been quietly interested in one of these also.

Hows the economy Darren all though it doesn't really matter with fuel the way it is at the moment.

mines getting 10-11L/100km with exhaust and 13psi.

got an SAFC II in it that needs to be tuned.

guys its a legnum

i gave the thumbs up to sleds post, not the stag post that was at the same time as mine.

by the way when is sled ever wrong?

his obvious ability to guess things before they happen were proven at the dyno day.

yea thats the one

38k on the clock, fairly imaculate all over.

guy imported it thru j spec but had a loan on the car i think from day one.

so when the car was still in japan he was allready having to pay the loan off.

10 months later (june 08) it was here and complied.

he has done less then 4000 klms in it and now realised he couldnt afford it so i grabbed it.

:)

haha well done Darren....that's a little similar to the way I scored mine. A guy in Sydney put a decent deposit down for an importer to bring it over then when it landed, he couldn't come up with the rest of the cash, so I flew over and drove it straight back

Excellent choice.

Legnums are sick, so you'll definately be impressed.

For anyone else, I'm having to sell mine - it's a mint Series 2 Type S and a Manual too;

holy thread bump batman!

hang on a second! an r34 sedan isnt even a wagon! :)

yea i know but i thought they are still family styled?? :D and i have been wondering about how the er34 would go against the leggy... im a fan of the VR4 myself and drives a er34 so just pondering and thought perhaps someone can shed some info on this. the er34 has about 240hpatw now.

it has returned, i say best wagon is the cheapest so you can afford to have a 2nd car and not look like a soccer mum :)

+1

I'd go a series 3 r31 wagon now if I had some spare change and, more importantly, a place to store it

-D

duno what its worth, but ill give my opinion anyway :)

going from a silvia to a galant vr4. yes a silvia is not a stagea, but its still a nissan turbo with the same feel and making the same power. and yes the galant is not a legnum, well it is, so shh lol.

since owning the vr4 ive lost interest in the silvia. the vr4 is much smoother, easier to drive, can be modded just as easily as any turbo nissan, and is so much easier to work on. ie, like even with coilovers and other mods, the vr4 doesnt feel like a track pig, where nissans do. the only reason im keeping the silvia is for a project to keep myself busy. if i had to pick one, the vr4 would be it no doubt.

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
