BOZ22N
Hi, Just doing some research about stroking a VQ30 with a VQ35 crank. Does any one know if this is possible? I found these specs on the net, i don’t know how correct they are, anyone that could verify these would be good. VQ30DET Bore × stroke 93.00mm × 73.30mm VQ35DE Bore 95.5mm Stroke 81.4mm Cheers, Ryan Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/243737-vq35-crank-into-vq30/ Share on other sites
rs73
looks right, by calculating volume per cylinder (phi=3.14 * (bore/2) ^2 ) * stroke = 583 cm3 (or cc) per cylinder * 6 = 3.499 ltr for the VQ35. Thanks Rantino, By the way the rotors are still going strong with the hawk pads. If any one has a VQ35 crank stuffed or not i would happily take it off your hands and try it in one of the VQ30 blocks lying around. All in the name of science. lol Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/243737-vq35-crank-into-vq30/#findComment-4247818 Share on other sites

I think the HR runs a larger journal?????? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/243737-vq35-crank-into-vq30/#findComment-4247834 Share on other sites
