Nismo Turbos Info Needed

im looking for some helpful info on the old style nismo turbos

i think they are rr581?

im lookin at puttin them on my 32 gtr as i can get them off a mate.

but im curious on info about them.. like what size and power they are similar too eg. ive been told they are like the 2860-5 in size but come on boost later..

any help would be appreciated..

If they are the older style ones... they are kinda like -5's... just laggier and less peak power.

IMO get something new-tech regardless of how good the 'deal'. Its a GTR, you should only have the best

cory.. nismoid said it perfectly.. its a GTR, spend the extra $$ and do it properly, because in the end of the day, you will be even happier once that boost comes on that little more earlier and produces more power! correct am i not?!

how much better are the 2860's cos thats wat ive been looking at? boost come on earlier? and more power?

yeah the rr581's are good for about 670ps. I have 2x rebuilt ones on my rb30dett.

BNR32. For GT / Le Mans.

T03(T04B-0.6A/R).

I am happy with where they come on boost now, but I always intended to run them on a 30. I probably wouldn't like them on a 26 but.

If you have the coin I would be getting the 2860's as mentioned, BB core newer tech etc.
