hey all

what boost pressure can a brand new stock BOV hold (RB 26) im running about 330RWKW, 18lbs, engine 170k's, my mechanic said my stock ones where not holding boost/pressure, and replaced it, but want to go back to stock cause of dirty ol' shuffle, but he said not too

advice?

I'd say your mechanic has not had a lot of experience with a lot of high powered gtr's and this is why he said not to go back to stock bov's.

I'd take any future advice from him carefully.

You're doing the right thing by also posting on here and asking the same question.

another question on these gtr bov's, do they have to be plumbed back in to the intake or will they work fine venting to atmo? i am using the rb26 in a different car so plumbing them back is a pain, and is one gtr bov good enough for a 400rwhp setup?

GTR BOV's leak @ idle/low throttle

There cannot be used ATMO. Must be plumbed back. Thats the point of them
