Installing Wideband Sensor.

As all the auto electrical gurus normaly browse here it seems sensible to post here rather than general maintenance.

I am installing a wideband O2 sensor into my car, just wondering where i should get power from. Should i run a positive wire from a permanent 12v source and use a relay tied into the ignition or is there a suitable 12v source that i can connect it up to?

Just wire it up to some power source coming out of your ignition, i got my power from the centre console might have been power for the amp. You don't want your wideband on all the time, just when the ignition comes on only.
