Nice as the Nismo ones are, they aren't what I'd call flares, they're just body mouldings. I think the OP actually wants more track, which they'd be useless for.

Love the car in the original post, flares or not, silver BNR33 with white rims is an epic win.

Those flairs on the original post are just beautiful. Would add immensely to track width and therefore tyre grip. But I guess for all the gay boys out there that like the poofy little ones on the purple car, well, they aren't flairs boys. Sort of like having a bonnet scoop that isn't actually sitting over a hole in the bonnet. Just glued on for the wank factor. Sorry.

the car in the original post is a gtst.

CCW is making me a set of 18x11 "classics" so i can use 295-305mm tires with a +10 offset. ill probably still space them another 5-10mm so they fill the flares out. the center will be shotpeened graphite grey, lip polished, 4inch lip.

first of all, yea im looking for more width but im also concerned with rubber patch on the road as its a 600ish hp BC stroked RWD car. im just looking for all the traction i can get. sure it will look like a steamroller but it'll hook better than a 18x9 rim with a 255 tire and handle better too.

cosmetically, they look awesome to me, theyre going on with a gtr replica bumper, hasemi sideskirts and an abflug rear bumper/diffuser, FRP doors, hasemi canards. to each his own. i have had a picture in my head for 4 months while collecting this pile of parts and these were the last piece other than the spoiler. (voltex)

i was able to track them down in the UK, the abflug ones. they look a skoach differnet than the ones pictured but i found the ones i want.

function before form. its all going into the paint booth first week of january for a full fitting and respray, r33 gtr white with double the clear coat, jambs and all.

oh yes... you must post pics... or I will hunt you down;)

ill put something up when its finished cosmetically. those CCW custom wheels are only 2350USD by the way. about, or more, than one would pay for some pizza cutter width volks with offsets that soar like falcon. they are an american site that caters more to corvette owners (about the only american car that can use an 11-12in wheel) so not too many people know about them.

    • Welcome to Skyline ownership. Yes, it is entirely possible parts websites get things wrong. There's a whole world of inaccuracies out there when it comes to R34 stuff (and probably 33 and 32). Lots of things that are 'just bolt on, entirely interchangable' aren't. Even between S1 and S2 R34's. Yes they have a GTT item supposedly being 296mm. This is incorrect. I would call whoever you got them from and return them and let them know the GTT actually uses 310mm rotors. Depending on where you got them from your experience and success will obviously vary.
    • Hi...a bit a "development" on the brakes. I spoke to the guys where i get brakes from...and they are saying that 296mm EBC are for R34 GT-T. I then went to their site: https://www.ebcbrakes.com/vehicle/uk-row/NISSAN/Skyline (R34)/ and search for my car(R34 GT 1998 - it has GTT brakes) and it show me this USR1229 number and they are rly 296mm rotors... So now iam rly confused... The rotors i have now on the car are 310mm asi shown... So where is the problem? Does the whole EBC got it wrong or my calipers are just...idk know what?
    • Oh What the hell, I used to get a "are you sure you want to reply, this thread is XX months old" message. Maybe a software update remove that. My bad.
    • This is a recipe for disaster* Note: Disaster is relative. The thing that often gets lost in threads like this is what is considered acceptable poke and compromise between what one person considers 'good' looks and what someone else does. The quoted specs would sit absurdly outside the guards with the spacers mentioned and need  REALLY thin tyres and a LOT of camber AND rolling the guards to fit. Some people love this. Some people consider this a ruined car. One thing is for certain though, rolling the guards is pretty much mandatory for any 'good' fitment (of either variety). It is often the difference between any fitment remotely close to the guards. "Not to mention the rears were like a mm from hitting the coilovers." I have a question though - This spec is VERY close to what I was planning to buy relative to the inboard suspension - I have an offset measuring tool on the way to confirm it. When you say "like a mm" do you mean literally 1mm? Or 2mm? Cause that's enough clearance for me in the rear :p I actually found the more limiting factor ISNT the coilover but the actual suspension arms. Did you take a look at how close those were?
    • @GTSBoy yeah sorry i know thery are known for colors bud those DBA are too in colors 🙂 Green will be good enough for me
