1R34SON
hey i m buying a 34 again and one weather shield has been removed and the other is still one. i want them both off but the one that is already off has white marks all over the seal (as can be seen from photos). Sorry about poor photo, it was a photo supplied to me. Does anyone know if marks are removable? or is the seal easily replaced? Thankyou! Dal34
Apparently, the one way to get it off is rip it off and use metho or something of the sort to carefully get the white shit off, i just left mine on there. nvsA4
in that pic it looks like scratch's but if there not try prepsol (wax and grease remover) can get it from autobarn and the like just wipe it on, wait a tiny bit then wipe it off Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/246181-weather-shield-removal-help-with-aftermath/#findComment-4280192 Share on other sites
SLY-25T
yeah its not scratches or anythin. its like a foam or somethin. i used wax and grease remover. takes some time and effort if its been there for a while. let the W&G remover soak into the foam and pick it off with something plastic. satanic
One of mine got ripped off when car got broken into in 06... first removed the chunks with Prepsol and then cleaned up using degreaser on a rag; gets rid of all sticky stuff.
