Come home from from work and seen the linen closet open, stange i thought, i cannot remember leaving it open, closed it, went into living room and thought, strange, i donot remember ripping the entertainment unit from the wall and hiding my electronic stuff, every room in the house was the same, 3uck1ng bar5tards.

Had to get smashed window fixed and change all the locks as they found my spare keys.

I cannot wait till i find my next thief doing crimes as i think i will take out alot of pent up aggression out on his arse.

Note to self- get a alarm-a really load one with spears and razor blades and a couple of cops to clean up the remains.

Not a happy fellow.

thats shit dude... atleast you or your missus werent home, couldve been worse..

ive heard of people being broken into and the mongrels found the spare keys... drove right out of the garage with all their stuff... noone noticed anything, until the owners came home from holidays...

note to all you guys with full house, heck, even standard gtr's etc. in the garage.

the alarms we install into our houses call our phones from a dedicated number. probably worth looking into, and you're not paying for a back-to-base system - just the phone line and the alarm does the rest.

That sucks man, as saidf hope you have insurance man..

And have no idea how much rage you would have inside of you.. well hope it all gets sorted out aye.

List of things taken by any chance? Will keep a look out for gear being sold around, slight chance, but worth a shot i guess.

Lousy so-and-sos. You feel violated and the gut gets wrenched.

Hope you're insured adequately.

Sometimes they even come back after a few weeks and try for the new replacement stuff.

I saw a sign on a terrace house down at Woolloomoloo once that said,

"This house is protected by a shotgun 3 days a week. Guess which day?"

back when i was in year 10 we our garage got broken into. Its connected to the house and even has a door connected to the house. We were all asleep upstair when this happened. Its was a big shock in the morning when my dad realised what had happened. The new house we're moving into has a good alarm which is connected to a phone line aswell

Wattle Grove, Sydney, Nothing that cannot be replaced got nicked. Barstards even trashed my daughters room, glad they didnt get into my garage.

Nothing is sacred to these animals, they should be tied to a chair and butchered with a hacksaw.

    • The final part arrived today to un-clampify and simplify the intake Who would have though a 1/2" hose stainless bulkhead fitting designed for below waterline bilge pumps would be what I needed Test fit on a 3" offcut I had laying around to see if it would work, and it worked a treat All going well the intake will be on its "final version" tomorrow
    • Good luck on the weekend mate
    • Must have been an absolute nightmare to drive when the power steer was out, the rack ratio/wheel size/caster is all set up for power assistance
    • Welcome to SAU, what are you looking at buying?
    • I checked the injectors again (1 and 2, since they’re easiest to access) to make sure they weren’t clogged. Even though the entire fuel system had been cleaned, I wanted to be certain. Everything looked clean, so I reinstalled and connected everything. When I started the car to confirm everything was okay, it immediately revved up high, so I shut it off straight away. I checked to see if I’d missed a vacuum hose or something, but everything was connected. On the second attempt, the car ran without the high idle, but I noticed a distinct “compressed air” sound coming from the engine bay. Tracing the sound, I pushed injector #6 forward slightly and the noise stopped — it turned out it wasn’t seated properly, despite the fuel rail being bolted down. While holding it in place, the car idled steadily without stalling and ran for over 5 minutes. At this point, I pulled all six injectors out just in case I hadn’t seated them correctly or dirt had gotten onto the O-rings. Unfortunately, I discovered that I had damaged 3 out of 6 injectors (the OEM 270cc ones) during installation. So yes, this was my fault. Since only the pintle caps were damaged, I’ve ordered a Fuel Injector Service Kit from NZEFI to refurbish them. In the meantime, I reinstalled my new injectors – the car now idles fine for over 15 minutes without stalling. I have not attempted to drive it so far. It’s not perfect yet, as it hesitates when the throttle is pressed, but it’s a big improvement. Unplugging the IACV with the new injectors idles at around 800rpm, even with the IACV screw tightened fully. But this is probably due to tune.
