I need a mule for a few days. I have developed a drive by wire cruise for the sedans and coupes with the VQ35DE and I want to do one for the VQ25DET.

I'll need the car for at least 3 days. i need to map out a few things on this engine that I believe are different to the VQ35. cruise control takes the place of the blank spot on your steering wheel (note I need the car to have a stock wheel..) and behaves as teh stock system should. if you want the cruise system on it I'll leave it there for a discounted fee

PM or reply here if you can help.

Hey Chris,

When do you need the car? Mine will be free after the new years.

And How much discount??? :(

after the 5th of jan or there abouts. discount can be discussed after I map the car - not before :)

Quoting Sid From Ice Age: "You are a very shrewd mammal" :(

As long as Craig delivers my wife's V35 in time my you can have my car for testing.

I have a mule - ta!

Ziel20l ,

its a professional fitted kit only - NOT and I repeat NOT a DIY kit. there are too many variables to make it a DIY option. safety being one of them.

Chris,

This may be on my list of things to do in the future as I think I will be doing quiet a lot of freeway driving.

How do I go about getting a kit ordered when I want to get it fitted?

Thanks

Hi Chris,

Would be interested as well. Is it using the OEM steering wheel controls, or are there some other options. Car I am buying at has a Momo wheel and I think does not fit the OEM controls...

Also, how much do you think the kit would be?

Thanks.

when you are ready email me , I'll invoice it out and send it to a shop in condell park to be fitted. fairly easy.

nope needs the OE wheel as the controls are OE. price I would rather keep off the public side of things. I hate shitfights and this is one way of stating one. send me a PM and I'll tell you.

    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
