how will the hks gt2540 perform on a 2.6, all forged and cams mild head porting?

will these be to laggy want to hit around the 400awkw mark will be using for hillclimbs and circut work wont see the streets much.

A mate has a pair of 2540's on his RB30, nice and responsive 530awhp.. might be a bit laggy on a 26 though..

A pair of Garrett -5 will give a much better spool rate and deliver more power than a pair of 2540.

yeh was thinking just -5 would be the best thanks guys just saw some 2540 for cheap ill leave them there cheap then lol

2540's will do what 2530's do, just with less response.

They are the ugly duckling of HKS turbos - hence the cheap price

Will be laggy, 1bar by around 4800rpm. not really suited to track or hill climbs. You would be faster on a tight track with Gtss or -5's
