$50k for a 32 GTR wow. if they are asking that much it must be a good one :P. Can't go wrong with a V SpecII

16,000 km's and it's pretty much showroom condition still. Not too many V-SpecII's getting around either. It's a nice one for sure.

Not too good a buy imo.

The logical buyer is a car collector, as buying it and using it even for a short trip turns it into just another Nur ..

Who has a car collection for just display in australia (or anywhere outside Japan) where this would be a logical fit?

I doubt anyone..

That mint z-tune from a year or two ago - now, maybe..

PS: I got my car from zele. Great car although their photographer probably worked for playboy s/he is good at

making their stock look better than perfect - whereas in the flesh there are stretch marks, wrinkles and age lines!

(not the case with this example tho).

Yep this car is a "new" car. I'm quite good friends with the president of Zele and I went to Yokohama to check this car out the other day. It's only got delivery KM's on it, it's the real deal. Never seen a 34 as perfect looking. It sits in an air conditioned office 24x7 tucked behind a McLaren SLR.

It has 6.5 million yen on it if you're interested. Not really that negotiable though as the right buyer will pay that when he sees it.

6.5 mil is a very good buy imo. If only our dollar was back at the historic highs, I would've considered buying it.

Just curious, how does this work? assume the dollar was back at 100 yen to the dollar..

so you buy this one instead of a mint Nur with 20,000 kms for 4.5 million ..

ok, then what?

in a year, you'll have lost 2 million yen, unless you just want to put it in your living room on blocks?

Is it worth spending $20k to show a dozen people your odo for 12 months?

I would buy the car purely as an investment, and yep, god forbid, keep it in storage. Mind you I would still have my current car to keep me smiling.

    • @GTSBoy This method was able to get readings of -10 to -2, so it looks like its monitoring.  Now I need to figure out why the vacuum on the line provided isn't alternating with manifold pressure.  I went with 2 lines that an RB25 tuner recommended but I'll get a longer hose and try directly off the back of the manifold.  He may have been used to OEM intake setups while I have a DBW setup that removed the MAF and IACV.
    • I work at a car detailing and tinting shop called Quark which gets all manner of German cars in usually (mainly due to a contract with Mercedes Benz Kita Osaka, BMW Nishinomiya and others) but every once in a while something special comes in, like a fully restored 1972 HS30 Nissan Fairlady 240ZG... The shop owner had immediately started applying film to the windows as soon as it was in the shop so the interior was completely covered in towels and plastic sheets. But I could get a few photos of the engine bay which was restored like new. Such an amazing car to see in pristine condition in Japan these days.
    • Was going to say the car pulls up nicely everywhere, especially going into that last long right hander before the main straight. Looks like a lot of fun.
    • Hey Dave, welcome aboard! Good to see another soon-to-be Stagea owner here. The wagons are awesome — plenty of space, still got that Skyline DNA, and loads of potential if you’re into mods. Definitely post up pics when you get it, everyone here loves seeing new builds. What model/year are you looking at?
