alright i've given up trying to find a specific r32 gtst type m bar lip so i feel like the gtr lip should do fine as long as i can be told that some one can fit it properly to my front bar. what will they need to do to it? chop it up? cut pieces off? just as ong as they can put it on with good fitment.

if anyone can lead me to a recommended place in victoria (west if possible) that can fit a gtr front lip really well to a type m front bar please tell me as i really want to go through with this now.

let me know. thanks

just get the copy bar mate, $250 off ebay problem solved save stuffing around

otherwise theres one for sale on nissansilvia, its a copy bar with a genuine gtr lip for $350 in adelaide though check it

lol but thats the thing...i dont want a gtr bar UNLESS its already in good gunmetal grey cause i can't be bothered repainting.

i like the type m bar especially with foggies. helps out since the stock lights are not so good lol...could go HID's aswell but illegal.

the design of the projector headlights in the r32's (the bug eye headlights) do not work too well with HID's. They leave hotspots and dont form an even cut off line. (Sau search hid's on r32, several threads about the problem)

Jake, im guessing you will be buying an original gtr lip and getting it to fit?

Interested to see how it goes, but i can see the whole procedure costing alot. Doesnt the lip it self cost like $150?

Anyways here's a picture of how it should look like once its done

yeh most likely if i don't find a trial or gtr front bar already painted gunmetal ready to fit in the time i source a good gtr lip. i'll tell you guys how i go.

anyone know of a place that will give me good results in melb?

that lip looks neatly done in the pic but i reckon it just screws holding it on from underneath

i think youll do the same job if you just do it yourself with a few screws,

panels beaters are just going to do the same thing

well if i get my hands on a gtr lip and it looks pretty close...i'll just screw it on lolz. the lip will have to be normal plastic colour or black though.

    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
