V-Spec's came out in 1993 and V-Spec II's came out in 1994, both with Brembo brakes.

Thats a 1992 model.

Its says aftermarket intercooler, I just take a closer look, can't really tell from that pic.

"Garret GT2530 turbos with HKS actuators", I'd take your mechanic along just to make sure and ask the sell if they can prove...

Ok i will ask about the Garret GT2530 turbos with HKS actuators to see if he can prove it and where he got them from.

and i think the price is not bad... there is a few GTR's at that price

and he said he got is serviced at nissan i have asked for log history

Quote :"I get it serviced at a nissan dealership, so they've had their diagnostic computers on it and the standard engine management seems to be coping ok."

*Also, the car does need a tune for the new turbos...

so i will be getting it dynoed and tuned.

Be very wary of cheap GTRs they are cheap for a reason. It could easily end up being 14k + 10k for a rebuild so make sure you get everything checked by your mechanic. If it has nothing wrong with it then it would be a decent buy.

R32 GTR's are coming down in price as the years go by.

You can get a R34 GTR for as low as $40 000 + afew grand for compliancing, Road worthy etc...

But you pay for what you get, but still if this GTR is $14K and your mechanic and state roads checks it all out and is fine then you got yourself a bargin.

Bare in mind tho, its a 18 year old race car, things will need replacing.

    • Oh, also, forgot to add these photos I believe.
    • Thought i'd update on this. I was able to get in contact with Craig Lieberman and later on Darryl Alison (owner of Kaizo Industries). Darryl was able to help me verify that my car was in fact one of theirs and is helping me find more info on mine !
    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
