I've always had a special place inside me for the R32, but have never bought one because I was afraid of their age. I'm no mechanic, in fact, I'm probably the least mechanical driver to ever own a Skyline.

My question is, are R32's (GTSTs and GTS4s) tough little tackers worth the gamble, or are they so old now that you're far more likely to find a lemon with the clock wound back (several times) and a piston ready to blow.

Thanks.

save your money and buy a new car. with a warranty etc. There all old. and ive never heard of anyone not having to spend bulk amounts on there skyline..

Cars are a debt not an assett.

If u have to , buy one that someone else has completly rebuilt...

Save ya self some cash...

I've not seen anyone have any problems with an R32 GTS-T that any other car that age hasn't had, probably less so than a lot of the commodores / falcons getting around of that age. A GT-R would likely be a different story though. I've also found when buying thats that cheap , reliable and modified are three mutually exclusive terms.
