Has anyone had their guards rolled, or lipped, or whatever its called?

I got a bit too greedy and got 265 (10.5inch :)) for the new rear tyres, and they have turned out to be too close for comfort. I need to get this sorted before the track day on Saturday.

Can anyone recommend where I can get this done? Anything to watch out for? Approx prices?

Duncan, I have 265's on mine and they haven't been a problem...

I have the guards rolled on my Pulsar, it chipped a bit of the paint and also caused a lot of the strength to go around the panels (they bent easily).

Yeah, approx $40 a corner.

Thanks for the feedback, all. I ended up getting them rolled at Tempe tyres for $60 (rears only). They seemed to do a good job, no cracks in the paint etc.

And the tyres are no longer rubbing - I'm not sure how you guys fit 265s/275s without rolling them, is there some sort of tardis under your guards?

Bah dont listen to christian!

It comes down to the exact right offset of the wheel.

If you get the right offset you can fit 265 tyres on the rears no probs and thats what his wheels are.

I know a guy who can fit 275 to his nissan 180sx.

    • Hey. Very valuable information about pitwork, I will pay attention when buying any consumable parts 🙏 As for the carpets - I got a handful of information from nengun, from which it appears that indeed the carpets for the driver's side are OEM. They are not able to show me any pictures due to the long chain of different sales entities but after I place the order, as soon as the goods arrive at the nengun warehouse from which they will send the shipment to me they can send me photos and if my purchase differs from OEM I can immediately return it / cancel the purchase. I think I will give it a try 😉. Of course i'll let you know what's what as soon as i get them P.s. I know the topic is not relevant to the thread, but both nengun and amayama have these SICK 😍 trunk room lamps available. Do you know anyone who ordered them? I need to have one in my car
