Don't break your cars anytime soon.

Nissan Motor Co said it would resume production at its Kyushu plant on Thursday and Friday for as long as inventories of parts last. Other auto-assembly plants, as well as its Yokohama engine plant, will remain closed. Nissan did not disclose the number of vehicles affected.

Nissan said transmission plants were damaged and have stopped operations because of another earthquake on Tuesday in Shizuoka, southwest of Tokyo.

what's the headcount like for this afternoon?

I should be able to manage yet another one of my brief pit stops

Will be there for a similar pitstop.

I'm in for tonight. Probably walking however :( New radiator won't be ready for another week or so and after the radiator goes in it still needs to be sent to EFI for tuning so it may be two more weeks until I have her back. At least I should have a few more killerwasps for the hive with the intercooler and new ECU and it won't go boom with the PWR radiator :)

Nice!

I fixed it!

That's my days work right there.

Good shit bru.

Good Job, Team.

Mr Motorvation right here.

Thats what she said.

I like you, Noel

I now have a nice stainless dump and front pipe for teh stag.

Dump and front pipe

Bit eBay Spec, but it'll do for $120 :D

Doesn't look too bad

Got the old lady out of horsepetal today so probably a no show tonight.

That seems like good news :)

Give my regards to the girls and tell them thanks for the mamarys.

Will do.

You think I sit at my desk with clothes on...

I think you don't have a desk and this is all a ploy to make us think you are someone important!

I knew as soon as someone mentioned 'that's what she said', you'd show up lol

You're right :(

It's really just a stainless table from IKEA. Looks like something you'd cut an animal up on :shrugs: Maybe I'm Brisbanes very own Dexter.

My ears where burning... What can I say!

Not the thighs of someone rubbing on them?

LOL.

Picked up some brake pads on the way home, putting them in on sunday. One thing to cross off the list.

One of the many pics of the Japan aftermath.

Not sure what the car was, but I wouldn't mind the brakes of it.

Will have to spend some time perusing japan auctions in the upcoming months :P

    • Hopefully you can just unbolt them, thank them for their service, then bin them and not replace them Apparently the sensors like to set them off with only minor impacts at low speed It looks like they do a delete kit for some of these, but, it is costly
    • I hope it's actually possible. This is a write off in insurance world.
    • Yup. 2-way with shallow ramp angles. Still works.
    • That was the first session so not a lot to take from the day. It was low 20s ambient and the coolant had got to 110 (and obviously had some pressure!) so that still needs to be addressed. I haven't downloaded the data yet but will. I had refilled the auto trans with Redline DT6 because it claimed the best viscosity I could find at 100o. It wasn't really long enough to get a good feel for that; while the trans got to 100o in the session it still wasn't shifting crisply as I hoped. I think I'll try a few more sessions before judging. No steering motor overheat but I'd hope not in only 1 session! But finally the suspension; it was night and day over the standard stuff and the car was a couple of seconds quicker on the same crappy tyres, which is a huge difference. I'll stick with that and get some sway bars and a mechanical diff sorted too and see how that all goes together
