I’m putting these up for sale to fund other things I would “like” to do but if they don’t sell, I’m happy to keep them.

So please refrain from  offers.

Most people will know that these wheels are VERY hard to find and EXTREMELY hard to find in this condition !

HISTORY: The 1st owner of these wheels drove his 07 model 350Z straight from the car lot to a wheel shop and traded them in on some 20's early 2008. I purchased them without tyres from the wheel shop 3 days later. A while later I put the tyres on and since then have done 1 trip down to VIC for the Nationals then they came off and have been off since ( except for 1 day for the pics below ).

CONDITION: Wheels = PERFECT - Tyres = 95% New.

WHEEL SPECS: FRONTS: 18" x 8" +30 Offset - REAR: 18" x 8.5" +33 Offset

TYRE SPECS: FALKEN FK452's FRONTS: 255/35/18 - REARS: 275/35/18

WILL FIT: 350Z ( of course ), Almost all Skylines with 5 stud pattern & S15.

LOCATION: Southern Sydney

PRICE: $2,600.00 FIRM

BONUS: Will throw in a set of Gorilla Wheel Lock nuts ( value $95 ) & chrome wheel nuts to suit.

CONDITIONS: Will not seperate wheels / tyres at this point & local purchase ONLY ( will not ship or pack for shipping ).

Feel free to show me where you can get a set of "these exact" wheels ( Anniversary, not Track ) in "perfect condition" for $800 ( WITH OR WITHOUT TYRES ).

I'll be right here waiting

I am interested but prices is high.

What can you do for a sydney pickup?

Thanks

Price is firm for now. I'll post here if I decide to drop it. Cheers.

OK yes you have a point the others were track but what is so special on the aniversary riims

these wheels were introduced on the 2005 35th Anniversary 350Z. However, Anniversary owners were in for a shock when these came standard on the 2006 and 2007 models on the Base, Enthusiast, and Touring trim levels.

Need more info

What's so special about the Anniversary rims ? One of the best looking wheels around ( and they just happen to be made by NISSAN  ) and are hard to come by ( in any condition ).

I know that a set of these were sold not long ago for $1800 with ~30% tyres. They never even made it onto a sales forum before getting snapped up. BTW, they got fitted to a blue Robnel Cobra and looked f*@ing hot on it !

Keep in mind that these are as close to new as you'll ever find and have near new decent rubber. Now, with that in mind, call NISSAN Spares and get the price on new ones. THEN, add the cost of decent rubber onto that. I think you'll be in for a bit of a shock.

But if you don't feel they're worth the money, that's fine. You don't have to buy them.

There is another set on 350z forums for $1650.

Good luck with the sale though.

Cheers. Hope you get what you're after.

charlie25T, if I don't get whatever $'s I'm chasing, I'll put em back on my car and enjoy em. It's not the end of my world.

But since you were completely wrong on your first post in my thread......................................

Guys leave him alone.

THread bumping if an offence! Dont post if you are not interested. PM him!

hehehe, trying to act tough!

Good luck on your sale!

Cheers for that.

Anyway, since I'm not likely to get what I'm after and I CBF arguing, I'm just going to put em back on.

So mods, you can close this thread. Cheers.

  • 2 months later...

I much prefer my 350z FORGED track 18"s (and of course they were cheaper - in mint/perfect condition).

Your life must be pretty sad if all you have to do is troll thread history for something to apply a stupid comment to.........

    • What 1.5 way? There's no such thing really as a 1.5 way, just different ways of explaining 2 ways with different ramp rates. HOWEVER. In any driving in a straight line your 1.5 or 2 or 1.7 way should have no clunking at all. With the clutch fully depressed the diff should be silent (unless it's welded but I'm assuming it's not). Something aint right here.
    • Clutch is a spec brand, new clutch system,( PP, flywheel, friction disc, etc. pull type) installed 100 miles ago, with no problems.
    • looking for some help and maybe some insight on others experience with a new LSD. R34 GT ran and drove beautifully, but always alot of grip loss due to the open R200 rear end, so I just installed a new 1.5 LSD way into the stock open R200 for a ER34. Simple. Everything seemed right. I test drove for the first time this weekend. as I started to back out the garage the first time slowly with tires straight it sounded and felt like I had a loose or half disconnected drive shaft...that was clucking around loose and shaking entire vehicle, and making it feel like the trans clutch was spontaneously slipping then grabbing very roughly while just letting out pedal slowly. I backed it out went to pull forward with the same noise, shake and slip grab feeling with hesitation, I turned the tires to back out more and then pulled ahead some same thing but worst because of added wheel resistance (which that I expected) puzzled … pulling it back in checking everything over and finding nothing wrong, I tried it the next day. same thing, couldn’t believe how it shook everything again making a terrible noise and making it feel like the trans clutch was slipping and grabbing, but I got it out of garage into the driveway, got it straight, drove forward and then reveres a few times in a straight line everything shaking , causing what felt like clutch slip and grab every time, sounded like right behind front driver tire and I could feel it in the floor board with my feet,... worst right when beginning to let clutch pedal out to engage slightly, shuttering and sounding terrible along the way…I managed to slowly get down the road, babying it the whole way, once I was rolling (out of 1st) seemed to be better and between shifts, then clutch felt closer to normal…not slip/ grab etc., but back down to any stop, straight road or turning, same thing. Made no difference if all tires were straight or if I was turning. All other gauge read out correct. with in 2 miles as planned I reached the empty parking lot and performed the break in procedure that came with lsd, essentially to drive in a figure 8 a bunch.  Did this, binding chattering, and shaking the car the whole way. I drove it back home seemed somewhat normal once I was in straight line and past 10 mph or so, and I know it will “bind” on corners and cause some tires squeal when turning especially from a stop, but when I begin to move it still causes what feels like the trans clutch to slip and jerk badly as well as shaking the entire car, and sounds terrible, that I didn’t expect. I used the fluid they supplied with LSD kit and did the breaking, planning to change fluid as they suggest after breaking, but wondering will it get smoother or less aggressive with use? maybe a 1.5 is just too aggressive for normal road driving?   I have a LSD that I put in my 71 cuda when I restored it, with amazing smooth , quite yet effective results. Different style LSD but that ones a joy to drive. maybe expecting too much from this R200?
