They dont have to be the right fuses.. any high rated fuse will do!

At the end of the day, any semi-pro car thief will be able to figure out that if there's no immobiliser they can find, then the fuses must be missing/blown.. it's the first step in diagnosing why a car doesnt kick over!

When you guys are talking about a 'fuse', you mean he had taken out the main igintion fuse?? Is that wat some people do?

Think on the bright side, the scum bag that they caught gets to enjoy the showers for how long?

the a/hole got 3 yrs; but bear in mind he had stolen 3 other cars in the same week that he stole mine, and he was on probation at the time. he had a 2 page wrap sheet, was 22 years old and had never had a job; apart from auto theft!!. this is the 'shit' we have to put up with as law abiding citizens who go out and buy the things we want!!.

is that the workshop that is on King Georges Rd? near a shell station?

You wouldnt hapen to live local to there?

I do, an R34 GTR has moved in locally very recently, dark silver, 19" bronze TE37's, looks great. Been meaning to say hi to the owner :stupid:

yeah it is mate..

nah wasnt me, i just got mine fnot long now a Bayside one. i Wish i lived up that way... nice and peaceful

but i sometimes see a nice R32 GT-R with a custom paint light purple driving northbound up this road from Miranda or something.

yeah i thought so, the background in the pic looks familliar...

i always notice that fruit shop

that sucks big time sorry to hear, especially with your brother's connection with the car

Hope something comes of it with you offering a reward and all.

Brother inlaw's 32 got stolen stripped and turned up torched no one was ever caught for it, hope you have better luck.

Dirty f@&$"n criminal scum get a job and earn the things you want to posess also just as bad are those ppl who but stolen parts

Andrew..

Thanks 0888! Yes trezy85 i take out the engine and ignition fuses! So they are highly prepared or its some bastard who knows me.

[/quot

definately some so called "mate" of yours or atleast someone who has observed you changing the fuses all the time....... otherwise i find it hard for someone to happen to bring spare fuses along to steal a car (unless its a common problem when hot wireing, wich i dont think it is, lost the keys to my dads van and we hot wire it every day and no blown fuses), but i guess any bit of metal can act as a fuse

will keep an eye out for it mate i drive in the area serveral times a day for work, got your number and the rego detailed in my phone, hope it turns up safe and well.

yeah thats it.. how r u mate???

i swear when i find the bastards im going to kill them!

yeh im alright

will be coming to see u soon bout a new exhaust

had other more important things to do first

btw have u put up a post on ns.com?

they have a shire section which also covers a bit of st george

i can do one for ya if u want?

coz alot of those boys keep their eyes open

Thanks mate, yeah the exhaust is really noticable its a Kakimoto Exhaust which has a really distinguishing sound. Other than that there are wiseco, turbosmart and mtx audio stickers on the rear window which could have been pulled off by now! To tell u the truth i think its been stripped and all the parts sold by now! thanks anyway guys keep looking, all these sets of eyes are better than just mine!

    • Sorry to hear your HFM BM57 was faulty,  did you contact HFM I would hope they would be at least grateful for the information if there was some sort of manufacturing fault, you would hope they would be sympathetic even if your item was 2 years old if it had never been fitted. May I ask where it leaked from ?
    • Cats are called Bella, and Donna...  Like that poisonous plant And I remember your 2 monsters, I remember making a little bit of wee when you let them out... LOL I have already installed cat doors into the laundry where their kitty litter is, and the sun room, apart from the cat doors there's not going to be any permanent mounted stuff on the interior walls (interior doors are cheap and easy to replace) I will get a outdoor cat cage thingie once I finish the landscaping out back... https://catnip.com.au/ The only off limit areas are the main bedroom and the gym room....but, currently the cats are curled up in bed, in the main bedroom with the Mrs.....LOL, the off limits for the kittens to the main bedroom lasted about 5 minutes with Jackie I currently only have 1 free standing huge cat tree multiple level scratching post thingie in the lounge room, but, I will be getting another one soon now that I'm happy with the furniture layout in the back room and have a perfect spot for it
    • All of this is making it seem clear that running the Coppermix twin was definitely the way to go, especially in hindsight with how insane tariffs have gotten and the strength of the USD vs yen at the time.
    • That sounds like no chance of even importing one for road registering then Now I see why Duncan wants to check LHD rules for Targa...   I wonder how "bolt in" the AWD would be if you got one imported from the US and swapped it to an AUD one
    • Not to mention they drive like a bucket of bolts! yuck!
