harvo
Have you checked all of your earth connections/terminals are tight and clean. I had a similar issue and it turned out to be the earth lead had come loose inside the terminal where it bolts to the chassis. noddle
Is the fuel pump running, with my MR30 skyline EFI, the fuel pump would run for 3-5 seconds when the key was first turned on,and then stop. Once the engine started, the fuel pump would keep running. SXC32
Going to try a new computer tomorow still tries to start but will not run have been over the wiring all day and looking at the 280Z all looks the way it should so can only think that may have spiked the computer while changing the coil or something. SXC32
After much rewiring i found that the wire that was required from the coil to the computer was from the - side and i had it on the + side, motor and gearbox now running like a dream thanks for all your help.
