^ hahah too true.

Ive been working on tracks for hours. over and over. In the end have to turn if off. Gets annoying.

Listen to it 3 days later and it sounds completely diff. Strange

  • 2 weeks later...

o man.

Best sound. best music. best crowd.

I thought all the DJs before reso were really good.

Then Reso came on, he was honestly a f**kin machine. cutting thru songs with technical difficulty , . making it all look easy.

big big night. Sunday I wasnt feeling the best. But it was worth it.

Long set too. Should get it soon of Jayar who runs the dubstep shows on thursday nights. Ill send it if he has it

Best sound. best music. best crowd.

that's what its all about!!!

That's one big reason why I stopped going to clubs as regularly as i used to. Shit music, wanker crowds, and sound systems that sound like something put together by a 16 year old bedroom dj...

Crown and sceptre really looks on the up & up with these weekender events. The RESO gig was very well promoted imo.

That'd be awesome if you get your hands on that set too :)

Nice mate. would sound sweet on a big system.

My DJM came today. cant stop playin with it. sore back and all.

nice effects on the 400. Basically a smaller version of the 800.

Really impressed. Great quality.

I'm jealous mate, they are awesome mixers!

I just started having a play around with fruity loops tonight, awesome application hey!

Have you still got any tracks posted up Craig? I remember you posting a couple up that you made somewhere...

hey mate. heres my Myspace music page

http://www.myspace.com/preisswork

some oldish tunes on there.

Theres a trance song. and a couple other diff sorta sounding tunes

Now that I have the mixer Im gonna do a mix of my tunes. add some effects etc.

Let ya know when its done. :)

Edited by PREISS

that'll be gold!

I like the Jungle Neck track a lot, its very tripped out...

im working my way through learning some of the basic fruityloops functions. I've played around with it a little each night, started building a track last night. Building a basic electro house track. Keeping it very simple. Will post up a clip when its progressed a little more.

I really cant stand electro house, but a lot of the sounds and samples I've come across in FL belong to the genre...

yeah I know what your saying mate. If your a memeber of demonoid you can find some packs that work with fruity loops.

You can buy packs with great sounds too.

Fruity loops is great. been using it for years. but smoe of the stock sounds lack and you need to tweak alot.

yeah I'm going to definitely look into getting more sounds & packs. These ones are pretty damn ordinary like you say!

A guy I know was supposed to send me an invite me to join demonoid - still waiting for it... prick

I've wanted to make tunes for a long time now, finally starting. So many ideas!!!!!

FL is a good starting point imo. A mate of mine gave me Cubase SX3, but it lacks a little without some good VSTs

Did you get cubase working ? wouldnt mind having a look myself. I had a cracked copy that didnt work

You should look into sony soundforge too. Great for tweaking etc once your track is recorded.

If your mate cant get you the invite to demonoid let me know . I may have some invited left

lol, cheers mate!

yep, it definitely works.

(its cracked)

It came with the very basic VSTs (like A1 Synth - which is quite cool), but hardly any samples.

Actually came as a bundle with Nuendo and Steinberg Wavelab too. They all work as far as I've seen. Pretty sure I kept a copy on my ext HD - it's at work, so ill get back to you

Nice Steve!

i want to look at modifying sounds & making my own, but theres a lot to learn from a newbie point of view. That'll be far down the track i reckon

A good drum sampling/sequence kit would be cool. Something like Native Instruments - Battery 3.

Im happy mucking around with FL at the moment though, very cool app

cool cool.

yeah ill deff grab that stuff of ya. Let me know when its up and running.

Dont underestimate FL studio. Its pretty classy, just gotta tweak alot. Did you know SPOR produces with FL studio ? I was pretty amazed myself, as his sounds are so techy and all over the shop. Ofcourse he would have midi sounds hooked up etc etc.

I'm not much into FL, can't really get into it. Battery is cool though, got some battery kits on a drive somewhere but at the moment my fav is Addictive Drums which is a standalone program or VSTi. Other cool drum programs are Toontrack DKFH and FXpansion's BFD

    • I was using the wiring diagram I have So 12.74V is coming into the rear Fuel Pump relay as I measured.  When I turn the key to ON im getting 0.6V to the Fuel Pump plug; which i assume is backfeed voltage and doesnt include the 12V from ignition power.  The rear relay is working and being triggered.  From the diagram I clearly see the rear relay 80 = Rear Relay going into the Body/H loom (R-27) 27 = Fuel Pump plug going into the Body/H loom (T-20) 40 = Short Connector (R-27) I'm reading 12.74V on the blue/black wire which is the power for the Fuel Pump   From this diagram I can see the Ignition relay goes into the front and up to the ignition  2 = Fuel Pump Relay <1M> (R-27) 37 = ING Relay <1M> I started from the pump using this reference Which the way I read it (referencing Nissan wiring color codes) is: Pin Wire Color Function 1 B/P (Black/Pink) Ground 2 L/W (Blue/White)        ECU Trigger 3 SB (Sky Blue) Fuel Pump 5 L/B (Blue/Black) 12V Constant Tested SB to SB on Fuel Pump for continuity - confirmed Tested negative on Fuel Pump to 12V battery and L/B - confirmed 12V Pulled the relay putting 12V between Pin 1 & 2 and testing continuity on Pin 3 & 4 - confirmed relay   So that has me looking at this part of the circuit to understand whats happening here...and im still confused. From best I can tell; the disconnect is back to my previous diagram; between Ignition Relay and Fuel Pump Relay...which yet again; afaik is where the immobiliser should.    Thats what I was trying to explain to GTSboy; im not trying to fix it myself; yet I seem to have to get a Masters in Electrical Engineering (while im busy doing my actual job of DevOps & Cloud Engineering) somehow.  I just wanted more expert opinions; or more so that what I tested is correct and proves it to something around that area; to go back to the alarm tech (for a 3rd time) that he needs to fix it. He keeps telling me its not the alarm. He lives on the complete other side of the city so i understand not wanting to make a trip but as I said before if its the alarm it should be up to him to fix it. But he's adament its not; even though I pointed out the FP was immobilised through the original alarm. To my mind; it seems that the ECU is sending the signal; but the ignition is not getting 12V down the line.
    • Maybe also really stiffly sprung track cars. Get the inside wheel up in a corner and all the fun stops. Also me sometimes (rarely) when I have to stand on the brake to convince the diff to drive the wheel that is still on the ground when I'm trying to diagonally get over severe driveway entrance, etc.
    • I feel like I'm missing something. You had an authorised installer come out and install a new alarm. Post install the car doesn't start, and you aren't getting the installer back to fix what they did wrong?
    • So either way it is gearbox out and look what is wrong?  I know about the input shaft bearing. Even before swap/new clutch the it sounded exactly like this: So is that inout shaft bearing or the other was installed backwards?  And can some please tell me the part number for that input shaft bearing? The gearbox is small box from R34 N/A and number is FS5W71C. Thank you
    • I am yet to see anyone ever regret a quaife or helical. ...other than drifting/skidpan duties. I kind of want to upgrade my factory helical with a Quaife (but really it's not ultimately that different, and is a MASSIVE UNDERTAKING), that's how good the hype is about them, that I want to try them 'just to see'
