Looking at the people in the videoclip kinda explains it all.

lol. the song and the clip itself (for me) sums up this terrible fashion of bright high top shoe fitted, oversized emo ear pierced, poo catcher jean wearing jokers...

i recognise that second track you posted Ben - heard it somewhere before, quite recently. cant remember where though!

good to see there are a few rap & hip hop heads amongst us though, mix it up a little ;)

lol @ the poo catcher remark.

I have small tunnels in my ears. Not enough so you could fist f**k my head tho. I dont get the huge massive ones. Must be stinky and uncomfortable.

^ Remember the day this tune came out. memories. Couldn't find it anywhere. Tracked it down at some small place. Before torrentz existed ;)

hiphop >

Cant get into hiphop now days. The scene itself turns me of big time. Sick of hearing about 'money, hoes, cars' Rappers are so f**king full of themselves.

Still cant go past some poets like Nas, Cormega, Big L tho.

oh yeah - when it comes to club music, sorta stuff u guys and krishy are talking about, i dont know who ur talkin about

but anyone in hiphop from the last 30 years im pretty familiar with, can pick subgenres within tracks like a pro :(

get into indie and metal as well as electronica like aphex and jarre but i was never into club music - not to insult anyone, but club music is designed to appeal to horny drugged up dancer wannabes... and im no dancer wannabe :D

-D

lol Dohmar.

You aint been out in a while right ? The tunes most of us are talking about arent in 'dance clubs'

come to a dubstep night. or a nice tech house. deep house night. Sounds are amazing.

jarre, jan michal jarre ? his stuff is real real nice. got some older stuff on vinyl. Even his new stuff it good. well most of it. New album out a couple years ago. Did you hear it ?

yeah i aint been out in ages

last time i went to heaven they was playing technotronics 'pump up the jam' so that says how old i is

still, i hate club music

will go along to a dubstep or other venue if i dont know what it is, simply cos im curious - deep house isnt bad, have heard some of this... do i need drugs to appreciate it tho? ;)

-D

drugs and underground style club music will go down well to any drughead on a 100,000+ dollar sound system :)

deep house (the funky stuff), is more of a loungey club sorta thing, nice alcohol on tap and funky basslines @116-128BPM, music a more mature crowd appreciates

rather than 145BPM "reach for the lasers / who's got the pills" nature. if you need pills to enjoy the music, it aint worth listening to in my opinion!

+1. If you need pills you don't really appreciate the music itself.

Having said that I cant really go out without having a drink. I enjoy my night more with drinks> I guess this is the same. But I can still listen at home and enjoy without piss.

agree with the more mature crowds. dub crowds are generally mature and 60% of the crowd produce their own stuff and DJ. You get some real good convos going.

Dont mind the loungey stuff earlier on. Was in Fumo sun night and enjoyed it. Just love all the techy sounds and weird noised stuff later in the night.

Most of the rap you hear coming out on the airwaves is pretty cliched, but theres still tonnes of people holding it down

Texas as a point in case, they rap about modifying their cars and drinking codiene laced cough syrup with promethezine, or about getting laid... which makes it really fun and enjoyable to listen to... theres one song by Paul Wall 'I got the internet goin nuts' about how hes rooting all these chicks on a website and then he finds one whos really fat but he hits it anyhow..

http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2p60p_pa...goin-nutz_music

Couldnt find it on youtube...

Then theres the midwest style which has a signature fast delivery - Twista and Bone Thugs are good examples

Then theres detroit which has produced eminem and d12 (not that im a fan of either) but more importantly royce the 5'9

-D

I like twistas early stuff. real fast delivery.

Royce did a song a few years back named 'friend of ours' real real nice tune.

I used to listen to alot of hiphop. Really got into it. freestyled alittle. made beats. Just not into it as much. I still follow all the funny beef on youtube.

Heres a few artists I still listen too

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JiTPzeAGnyE <-- maybe not the best song to show

I need to learn to embed :)

Going to see this dude play on my bday if your interested Luke, Or anyone for that matter.

^just listened to the first bit of that track, sounds waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too similar to Kid Cudi / Crookers - Day N Night

(not saying its a bad track however)

Yeah, i thought that aswell, kinda suss, but still good.

hahaha! the small tunnels look cool though, the big fckers are ridiculous. you're probably spot on, they'd be filthy to look after

each to their own hey

    • You just need to remove the compressor housing, not the entire turbo. I would not be drilling and tapping anything with the housing still on anyways.
    • So, I put my boat on a boat. First of all, I'm going to come out and say it. Why is Tasmania not considered a holy goal, an apex that all road-legal modified cars go to, to experience? This place is an absolute wonderland of titanic proportions. If people are already getting club runs for once in a lifetime 30 person cruises to Tassy then I've never seemed to see it. It is like someone replaced the entire place with an idyllic wonderland for cars, and all of the people living there with paid actors who are kind, humble, and friendly. Dear god. After doing a lap of almost all of the place I've found that it's a great way to find out all of the little things that the car isn't doing quite right and a great way to figure it all out. All in all, I drove for 4 hours a day for a week and nothing broke. I didn't even need to open the engine bay. This is by all means a great success, but it has left me with a list of things to potentially address. I also now have a 3D printed wheel fitment tool which annoyingly hasn't got any threads in it to actually assemble it. I might be able to tape it together to check the sizing I actually want to use, but it'll likely involving pulling the shocks out to properly measure travel at least at the front, and probably raise the car while I'm at it, at least in the rear. I scraped on quite a few things and I'm not sure how else to go about it. I was taking anything with a bump at what felt like 89 degree angles. And address those 10 other tasks. And wash the car. God damn it is dirty. And somehow, the weather was perfect the entire time - And because I was on the top of Mt Wellington it turns out it was very much about to freeze up there. I did something I typically never do and took some photos up there in what must have been -10 and the foggy felt like suspended ice, rather than mere fog. If you own a car in Australia, you owe it to yourself to do it.
    • Damn that was hilarious, and a bit embarrassing for skylines in general 😂 vintage car life ey. That R33 really stomped. Pretty entertaining stuff
    • Hi, I have a r32 gtr transmission. Does any of you guys have an idea how much power it will hold with the billet center plate and stock gearset? At what power level and use did yours brake with or without billet plate? Thanks, Oystein Lovik
    • Saw this replica police car based on a Mitsubishi Starion XX parked next to a 'police box' (it's literally a box) in Hirohata, Himeji City in Hyogo prefecture the other day. It's owned by Morii-san who is a local Mitsubishi Starion enthusiast. According to a local radio station blog post, he always wanted to make a police car himself based on ones he saw in his favourite Manga comics.  As it's illegal to modify a car to look like a police car and drive on the road, Morii-san tried many times to get permission from Aboshi police station headquarters nearby. They refused initially by after they got tired of that they granted him permission. However, the car can only be displayed on private property and obviously can't be registered as long as the police livery is present. The car was completed at a cost of 1.5 million yen (US$ 10,000) in addition to the car cost. A location was chosen outside Hirohata Police box where the car can easily been seen from the street. Morii-san has two other Starion road cars, both widebody GSR-VRs.
