I think the community has to have a responce to this one, make it big and invite the media. If you have a cruise or just a meet and greet with a couple hundered cars (maybe even collect money for victims for crime) just to show that a majority of people out that drive the same style of cars or actual enthusiests(sp) and that we aren't all punks then we can try and reduce the fallout from this actions of the stupid few.

If we are all united in our public condemnation of the stupid behaviour then we might have a slight chance of not being tared with the same brush, Afte all if we are just posting on NS our dissapprovial then to the general public we are slient on the matter. If the event was to be held then only some spokes people should be allowed to speek to the media and their words chosen carefully so they can't twist then when editing the story.

i did think of this aswell you would still see the headlight of on coming cars and you can usually tell how fast they are approaching, but late night cold wet fog bad visibility ect ect the main wrx that hit didnt actually look that bad so speeds would have been low 100

just watched the ch 10 news that wrx was doing a shitload more than 100 kph you dont tear the other car apart like that at a 100 ks and end up another 50 mts down the road

how come no one has pointed out the fact that the bloke in the toyota drove infront of them.......

it was a female driving the toyota... go figure? jk; jokes aside, highly of stupid of these two rex drivers. they had passengers in their car/s as well. and still went ahead driving like that with the aftermath of the magill rd Accident. fkn idiots

looks like the cops have pinged both of the drivers now, just read an update on the news.com.au site. hope they get what they deserve

Both WRX drivers are abunch of fu(kheads :) ... Seriously! They cant grow up can they!?!

I only feel sorry for the 2 passangers in the WRX and the driver and passanger (and dog) of the corolla!

Innocent are always the onces that end up the worst!

Well i Thingk u should all think about wat ur saying about ppl here SOME MIGHT BE FAMILY to ppl involved in the accident!!

And dont even f**king start with this shit that non of u have ever dragged/speed/put ur foot down at the lights or on a quiet rd. Yeah i feel sorry for the ppl involved in this but apart from that i think u should all keep ur f##king rude remarks to yourself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S If you've got a problem or cant/dont understand something ive said im more then willing to spell it out to u

Sorry. Dont agree. It sucks and people are having a valid emotional response to the situation (yourself included)

Its only natural that people are going to comment.

great just what we need more f wits making it hard for the rest of us again . at least the suby was racing another suby and the name skyline isint linked to this crash .

rip to the innocent victim on his way home from work :-(

oh, dont you worry about that one, mr media has come with the goods on mentioning skylines in this. At the very end of the channel 9 news report "this comes just 7 weeks after a street racers life was claimed in his skyline on magill road" i think i may have to write another letter to the editor in the advertiser.

Theres a time and place for everything, we have time, but no place..

if you drove 150kph+ in whatever car, on torrens road and cleaned up two innocent people in whatever car, killing one of them; what, you dont expect people to look down on you and comment on your stupidity? you must be kidding me...

    • What are you thinking makes a sequential shit to drive on the street? About the ONLY thing I can think of, is if you're wanting to be able to roll up to lights in third or second and pop it straight into neutral, or you want to come down two or three gears, say out of 5th and back to second, but they shift quick enough it doesn't really matter
    • I'm not a drag racing guy, but that was a good watch. Didn't Ibrahim's car have some cooch! But the big question is....WTF is with so many of them running without seatbelts!
    • Sequential Is fine to drive on the street
    • Well that is not a sign of good quality..  Understand, but not so nice to drive on the street I suppose and out of my price range..
    • I recently got myself a 1989 r32 GT-R and it has some slight smokiness from the exhaust and misfires sometimes when coming off the throttle. I'm looking for a good mechanic in the Brisbane region who will do a good job on it. It'll need a diagnosis, and most likely an engine rebuild with refurb/stock parts (not looking for a motorsport build... yet). If anyone has done something like this before/knows stuff about this in terms of who can do it and how much it cost, I'd like to hear about it. I was looking on the forum and I found some posts from 2020 that were similar to this, but it has been a while since then so if anyone has any updated info that would be great.  I'm also new to the forum so if this topic should be in a different place please let me know. Thanks in advance!
