Std Clutch Limit R33 Gtr

just wanted to know what the limit of the std R33 gtr clutch is????? mine started to slip on the dyno the other day and want to know if I should upgrade or leave it in. Car made 254awkw then they wound the boost up a little and at about 265awkw started to slip, happy to keep it at clutch non slip point around 250awkw and leave it there for the time being and wait for the next step of mods to upgrade the clutch say in about 6 months time. will it hold??? Car is not driven hard often and never launched hard either.

With what you've stated above, you'll be okay.

Just no hard launches now.........

I have 250kW on a standard clutch (I assume) and it seems to be ok, have had that power for about 10 months, no launches.

Sorry to hijack the thread but I'm curious if the 33 N1 comes with a standard clutch or something better. If they're standard, I'll be in the same position as you in the future... =(

I would guess standard, but if you tell me your chassis number I can check for you if they run a different clutch. there are a lot of little differences so it's possible.
