hey i just need some info

starting a project with a rwd mitsubishi sigma

rb20det ( with mods)

5fwd

rwd

installing a r32 rear end soon

but dont know what is the best r32 gtr/gtst???????????

what ratios ...gtr vs gtst?

looking for a ratio with good acceleration and not bad @ topend

GTR axle will be stronger and the diff is a 1way mechanical to begin with.

GTSt has a shorter ratio (4.36ish for gtst vs 4.1 for gtr).

GTR LSD is 2 way clutch type LSD.

GTS4 ratio is 4.375:1 GTR is 4.111:1. the higher the first number in the ratio the quicker the acceleration, but lower top speed.

I would just start with a GTR rear end. if you find it's ratio's unsuitable then try something else.

oh so if im going to buy 1 of the 2 rear ends what shiuld i look for to tell the difference ?

need to know cause people here tend to sell you what you dont want lol

GTR diff will have 6-bolt halfshaft flanges and also I think a 6-bolt tailshaft flange? If getting a GTR diff then you'd best get a GTR tailshaft too so you can chop it up.
