probably - the series 2 W34 stagea came with an button operated auto trans with 4wd. Would be a complex electrical job but simple mechanical swap.

The getrag box is such a nice box, u wouldnt want to change it; the manual adds to the feel of driving a gtr.

when i bought my r34 gtr, i couldnt drive manual, i jst bought it and took it out at night to teach myself; with a good twin plate clutch its not hard to drive everyday.
